A nurse friend of mine at the hospital in New York where Clinton is located told me a good one...She says that when they told Clinton that he had a choice: Have the operation immediately and save his life (but likely suffer impotence) or continue to live his current lifestyle, and take his chances on a major heart attack -- likely fatal. It took him 3 days to decide!

Sort of reminded me of the Jack Benny program where the robber says "Your money or your life!" and there is prolonged silence.

Is impotence really a side-effect of bypass surgery?

I wouldn't know, but several men I know have had that problem,
but it could be from taking the high blood pressure medications, which definitely causes that side effect.

You know, if you think about it, the fear of dying of a heart attack while having sex is probably one cause of it!
