Text of memos about Bush suspension
By The Associated Press | September 9, 2004
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Here are the texts of four memos indicating George W. Bush was suspended from flying during the Vietnam war because he failed to meet Texas Air National Guard standards and did not take his annual flight physical as required. Copies of the memos were provided by the White House.

You're telling me, starting with the fact that CBS apparently fell for the most amateurish forgeries imaginable. I guess they really wanted to believe.
Isn't is funny that it is an AP/Boston Globe collaboration??
It's what I call: "Turning the toilet seat upside down."
In a related story, Elizabeth Edwards was heard practicing to sing before Kerry's concession speech.
As long as we continue to subscribe to newspapers that subcribe to AP. CANCELL YOUR NEWSPAPER SUBCRIPTIONS, FREEPERS!
We need to FREEP the AP on this, just like we did on the "boo" lie. Who has contact information?
Here's the deal:
1.) CBS claims to have retrieved the docs from Col. Killian's "personal" files as opposed to his official personnel files.
2.) CBS sends copies to the WH prior to the airing last to offer a chance for comment.
3.) Docs turn out to be forgeries.
4.) AP in a further effort to embarass the Prez, and aid the now seriously flagging Kerry campaign, announces that it got it the docs from the WH which may true...They conveniently omit the fact that the WH has given them copies of what they were handed by CBS.
You could not make this sh*t up if you tried!!!

Hey, the AP is going to quote you whether you say it or not.
Yeah the SeeBS memos appear to be forged. Seems they have been written on a computer and not a typewriter.
Hang on to your hat, Rose. I've been checking in on this all day (should be working). At first it sounded like some kookie conspiracy thing, but as more and more came out, the more convinced I am that these are forgeries. At least 2 of the Killiam docs are, according to one expert, over 90% sure to be forgeries. Dan Rather hasn't told anyone where he got them. I think someone should check his house for a smoking typwriter.
Shazam!
Why on earth would the White House release forged memoes depicting the President as receiving preferential treatment from the National Guard? That makes zero sense.
Thanks! I just blew boiling hot tea all over my keyboard!
Seriously, what would we do without the new media. The Old Media is soooooo in the tank for Kerry and they have nothing but contempt for the Average American.
"CANCELL YOUR NEWSPAPER SUBCRIPTIONS, FREEPERS!"
I already have, spy. I'll have to think of something else.
MSNBC did the same thing this morning describing the Killian memos as coming from the Whitehouse....
- Proportional fonts - not readily available in 1972
- a reduced superscript "th" - not on typewriters in 1972
- curly apostrophe - typewriter apostrophes back then were straight.
Also, several folks have type of the docs in MS Word and they overlay perfectly with the released documents. Other things include different or cropped signatures, and wrong date formats for the military.
There are probably more problems but those are the big ones.
This has been picked up by Drudge and some blogs like littlegreenfootballs and NRO.
Headline tomorrow: Dan Rather takes a scud.
Caught smearing Sitting US President with FAKED military documents.
Note:Dan Rather was unavailable for comment while looking at a nice retirement vila in Havana.
Kerry just got a backdraft that overcooked him. No ONE is gonna listen to a thing either He or Terry McJerkoff has to say now.
Hey Terry, Now that you are proven to be a total Idiot on the Military Issue how about explaining how you turn 100,000 into 18 million from a Corp. that Went bankrupt and cost share holders ALL their investments?
That's the AP folks. These people make Pravda look like legit journalism.
