This is from an article linked from today's entry on The Precise Truth. (http://precisetruth.blogspot.com/.)
The linked article is actually entited, "One Weekend in April, A Long Time Ago . . .
What John Kerry thought about the Sandinistas in Nicaragua."
It's well worth the read as is the original article from which it's linked. It shows good insight into Kerry's view of Foreign policy and international relations.
"...Kerry's instinct in 1985 was appeasement of Ortega, and there is no reason to believe that his fundamental views, quite visibly revealed in his mission to Managua, have in any way evolved to a more mature understanding of the nature of America's enemies or the use of American power. John Kerry: Wrong about Vietnam. Wrong about the Sandinistas. Wrong about the Soviets. Wrong about Iraq. The wrong man with the wrong ideas at the wrong time. http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/004/591eifow.asp?pg=1
Note: I have NO affiliation with theperfecttruth.com. In fact, I just found it. I just find it is a fantastic blog and Steve W's work is outstanding. (Hope this article hasnt been posted before.)

Hugh nails it yet again. What a comeback. This could be "hugh".
(PS to Hugh - I forgive you for stealing my "9/11 Democrats" line :-) )
BEAUTIFULLY said!
The wrong man with the wrong ideas all the time.
Kerry went before the American people and discredited America's attempt to bring freedom and democracy to the South Vietnamese, and he did these despicable deeds for his own selfish political gain.
Thirty-three years later, John Kerry is again going before the American people and discrediting America's attempt to bring freedom and democracy to the Iraqi people, and he is again doing these despicable deeds for his own selfish political gain.
It worked thirty-three years ago, Kerry became a U. S. Senator. I'll be damned if he will be able to use his treasonous tactics again.
A war we lost because it was micromanaged by a President who was not Presidential material with not enough grey matter and integrity to handle the job, who pandered to special private interests rather than go for a win. A Democrat of course.
What idea? Senator Kerry changes his policy positions so much and with such regularity you could set your watch to it.

Thank you, Thank you. I didn't think much of Johnson except that I held him in deep contempt. He was a Clinton with no charisma!
Aside, Boofidul Kitties, as my granson says. I am a cat person. I have a picture of my Sealpoint Male flushing the toilet after he used it. Pictures include use.
