The Officer of the Deck, U.S. Navy Lt.j.g. Daniel Cavanagh, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Seth Buehnerkemper stand watch and look for contacts from the bridge of the submarine USS Toledo as Petty Officer 3rd Class Alejandro Ramos removes a portable commercial radar display in preparation for a dive shortly after getting underway in the Arabian Gulf, Sept. 1, 2004, following a 10-day port visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The crew used the port visit as a working port to perform a mid-deployment upkeep. The USS Toledo is part of the USS John F. I am boycotting hollywood. Their movies are shitty anyway, plus you have to listen to the morons run there mouth.

Here you have people who are basically unemployable and making millions of bucks a year using a inate, God-given talent. You would think they would shut up and be happy. No, they have to run their mouths.

Fuck hollywood.

John

Kathy, thanks for the great pictures of our Troops!

Yes, my sister's ex owned a balloon several years ago, and I went up a couple of times, but mostly crewed...chasing was fun, never knowing where the balloon was going to land!

An endangered Texas native

Ocelots are a beautiful small spotted cat of the Americas. They range from South Texas throughout Central and South America, and utilize a wide diversity of habitat types. The northern most sub-species occurs from Northern Mexico into extreme South Texas and utilizes dense scrub brush habitat. Conversion of most of this brush land habitat for agricultural use has caused this sub-species to become endangered with only 100 - 120 ocelots remaining in Texas.

"And trying to figure out how to get there"

ROFL! Many balloons we chased ended up in fenced-in private property. We had to go knock on the property owners' doors to beg to be let in to retrieve the balloon. We were pretty lucky most of the time, but I can remember crawling through alot of barbed wire.
