An excerpt from Steyn's latest has me suspicious that a slaughter of schoolkids is planned for America soon-maybe before the election.
Here is Steyn excerpt:
Could what happened in Beslan happen in the US? Two months ago, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported on a fellow called Mohamad Kamal Elzahabi, a suspected terrorist who'd fought with his fellow jihadi in Chechnya and somehow wound up in Minnesota, where he'd applied for licences to transport hazardous materials and drive school buses.

Now, what if some less suspicious "white-looking" Chechen, or female, or some local recruit(s) starts driving school bus and and shows for work up one day and rigs a bus full of kids with explosives? Background checks can be defeated with enough planning. I doubt the enemy will make the same mistake twice.
We are catching way too many suspects up here in Minneapolis. Wonder if this is happening in your city also?

Let them riot. There are many more parents in this country than there are NEA members and politicians for that matter. If a terrorist act did happen in a school, no one would care a whit what the NEA thought about anything anymore. They would be irrelevant. They would cease to exist because they would have very few students and therefore no political clout.
Parents would pull their kids out in droves, thumbing their noses at both the NEA and the politicians.
It would be the end of how education is delivered in this country. The NEA promulgates PC multi-culti/homosexual indoctrination, etc., etc., dreck and the politicians pass legislation to back it up. They work hand in hand. They'll both be damned.

What no one wants to say is that there is one way, and one way only, to stop all of this nonsense.
We join with Russia (now......unfortunately; and only now due to the horrors of the last several days) and we make the following pronouncement to the world:
"We, the world's nuclear superpowers, offer the following ultimatum. Islamic terrorism of all kinds stops immediately. If not, here are the horrific consequences your world will face.
For the first attack, we will jointly attack and destroy Mecca with nuclear missiles. Another attack.....Medina is wiped from the earth. Each subsequent attack will be matched by yet more nuclear destruction of the Arab world's major cities one by one. No further warning, no matter how many are killed in a single terrorist attack. Whether five or ten or 100 victims, your attack will cost your people an entire city.
We await your response. Rest assured ours is ready."
The only thing you may have left out is that there is one slight chance that your response may not occur, and that is, if another 9/11 happens, only this time its 9/11 times 10 or 9/11 times 100. At that point, there is 2 choices to be made...either we actually do what needs to be done to retain our freddoms and our American way of life...OR the Feds have a power orgy implemented and justified "to keep us safe" and we become Police State USA TM. 3000 dead was not enough on 9/11/01.
I would hope the response would be to send in the special forces right off the bat, without waiting, as quickly as we could get them suited up and through the door.
Everyone tries to wait them out. Notice how Israel doesn't seem to have this problem anymore?
What the schools have to do, for one, is to get rid of those "Gun-Free Zone" signs plastered all over the place.

Not to demean the reasoning of going to war with Iraq (and I agree with it), but if an attack/hostage situation was to happen in an American school, all that it says is that our response was not powerful enough, and that @ home, we have not done the things necessary to prevent it (i.e. real border patrol, racial profiling, not issuing visas to Arabs for a period of time, etc. )
Try taking out innocent kids,and see what we do to your asses.Our patience is wearing thin.
Islamics are a leftist, protected class. And our own president gave the whole "Religion of Peace TM" mantra shortly after 9/11. My patience wears thin too. A shame we arent both elected officials with the power to do something about it. (sigh)
