Other papers are picking up on the story about Dexter Lehtinen's ad:
Kerry "shamelessly drapes himself in the imagery of Vietnam, military service and the support of veterans, devoid of any media scrutiny. Meanwhile, the criticism and disapproval of Kerry by scores of veterans continues to fall on deaf ears."--Newspaper ad attacks Kerry's post-Vietnam speech to Congress, by AP "writer" Tom Sharp at miami.com Sharp's piece mostly features an counterattack by Bob Tuke of Veterans for Kerry.
According to Bonna de la Cruz with tennessean.com, about 100 Legionares stopped by Vietnam Veterans for Truth's booth which was reportedly at Legion's convention center where Kerry spoke. There's a great shot of Cmdr. Sam Pappas being interviewed at that link, by the way. Some say Senator Kerry got a tepid response.
Someone posted the purported text of the add at libertynewsforum.com, and I've posted the top of it below:
Lehtinen
Sounds like a good Finnish name.
Finns have a belief in what they call "sisu".
Lehtinen has sisu.

Thank you JohnHuang2 for posting this. I just hope and pray the word is getting out to the young men and women about the treasonous activities of Kerry. I truly hope the VietNam Vets are heard and heard good.
The Clintons engineered the implosions of Dean, Edwards, et al.
Hillary now has a clear field for 2008.
