This is so crappy, I can't even be my normally sarcastic self.
What vileness. What hatred CNN must have...

It's good to be reminded of these things. Now it's time to move on and continue what must be done.

Vultures.
You know though, as much as the Dems might want to use this, it's pretty easily countered. The 1,000th death is no more or less meaningful than the 633rd, or the 874th. To make a deal of this is to be choosing symbolism over substance.

Bush should get out in front of this and say that our resolve to triumph over terror will mean the sacrifice of many. However the sacrifice of each one is measured as an individual. There is no number of sacrifices that will deter us in our resolve as a nation to fight this war on the terrorist's front door so we do not fight it here in our streets and homes.

Are they celebrating like their friends the DUers?

Of course they don't state how many deaths are not combat related.

Evidently CNN finds round-number statistics more compelling news than the stories of heroism and sacrifice that our troops are living each day in Iraq.

We should all grieve for these soldiers and their families. Whatever CNN's intentions, it is good to remember and honor these heroes.

"CNN is touting the 1,000 US death in Iraq"This should be done as a memorial to the brave souls willing these days to protect and die for all of us....
including the ingrates at CNN.

I don't care who sees it: I hate these people for what they're doing.

They are probably happy. When I do get in a demented mood and watch CNN, I never ever hear anything positive from them, then I get my fix, remember why we went to sattelite so we never had to get our "news" from them again.
