You know though, as much as the Dems might want to use this, it's pretty easily countered. The 1,000th death is no more or less meaningful than the 633rd, or the 874th. To make a deal of this is to be choosing symbolism over substance.

That was my thought exactly!Someone need to ask CNN what makes this death more important than the other soldiers that have died in Iraq.They were all important and to put this number out like a trophy is shameless.

I tuned in Limbaugh at noon. The CC station carriess CNN radio news. I swear I could almost hear the anticipation
in reporting the 999th death.
