Washington, DCRNC Communications Director Jim Dyke released the following statement regarding Senator Bob Grahams conference call today for the Kerry Campaign.
Senator Graham is right. Intelligence does matter. That's why it's so troubling that John Kerry did not bother to show up for 76 percent of his Senate Intelligence Committee hearings. The Kerry campaign says the percentage would change if non-public committee hearings were included but refuses to release the records
However, we know Senator Graham keeps notebooks which are obsessive in their attention to detail. Perhaps one of these notebooks sheds light on Senator Kerry's attendance at these closed Intel hearings. Or if Senator Kerry himself believes that intelligence matters, he can prove it by releasing his own attendance records.
As a presidential candidate Senator Graham's bizarre conspiracy theories and calls for the President's impeachment so undermined his credibility it is difficult to understand why the Kerry campaign would now lend him a platform to launch his latest accusations -- accusations already disproved by the 9/11 Commission.
What did Senator Graham say this time?
The cheese fell off his cracker years ago and he still has no clue.
This is about the bin Laden family flying out after 9/11
Kerry is demanding a full Senate investigation
I just wanted to know exactly what lunacy he was spouting this time around.
I also want to know if the media will treat his comments with the same kind of antagonism and nastiness with which they treated Senator Miller.
In other words, Michael Moore now controls the rhetorical vocabulary of the Democratic Party.
That's good for us.
he wrote a book with all of the whack-jobbist theories that cloud is foggy mind; if what I've read is any indication, the kitty kelly book will seem sane compared to the "Graham Whacker" book.
No kidding. It's disgusting to consider what all he probably tracks in his little notebooks....
Prairie
I briefly tuned to Fox News this morning and heard statements from the Kerry camp defending Graham and his fine record and right to be heard, blah, blah, blah.
(as opposed to 200 plus Viet Nam vets right to be heard)
Anyway, I wondered what the doddering idiot had said now, but never heard anything more.
What about the Republican treatment of Zell Miller after his speech?
He certainly was not invited into the "circle" for the Bush acceptance speech.
It's a shame, I actually liked Bob Graham when he was Governor of Florida. I don't know what happened to him.
What fools. The rats and the media still think this is the old Republican party. These days we are fighting fire with fire -- answering every one of their lying accusations.
Kerry's going "Michael Moore" on the President? That should help. LOL!
rotfl
He's not a member of Bush's or Cheney's family.
What a bizarre statement on your part. Plus, he'd already left the convention.
He also claims that Gen. Tommy Franks told him that he was shifting resources in preparation of an Iraq invasion right after 9/11. It will be interesting if the general debunks this consipiracy theory also.
He sat with them right after his speech.
