This is personal email from a son, LtCol Dave Bellon, USMC to his father, the operator of the website, who makes them public so the American people can get a real clear picture of what is happening there, not the lamestream biased version. He gives great inside information regarding what is actually ahppening in Iraq. You can receive up dates by registering at the site, which I highly encourage.

All the Marines there make us VERY PROUD of them!

My only question is, why is this dated today? I read this at least two days ago.

How nice of Americans to risk their lives for Japanese exporters.

Can the Marines bomb an outhouse in Fallujah without Bush's permission?

Marines doing around the world what they do best!
"Taking out the trash!"

And as a grunt myself, let us not forget to acknowledge the brave job the Navy Corpsmen do to keep Marines alive to fight another day.

God bless the Corpsmen!

Kelly

Unfortunately, I don't see us taking them down until after the election. If Bush wins, he will tighten the screws. If he loses, he may do it anyway just to get it done. As far as the Iraqi government is concerned, it does remind me of the last days in Viet Nam when that government could not rally a good fighting force of men and the more we turned over to them, the more the VC/NVA gained back ground we had once won.

As one whose grandson is fighting in that very area of this Godforsaken land I am happy to see the mettle of the officers who lead them!

"Can the Marines bomb an outhouse in Fallujah without Bush's permission?"

Well, they could, but there are much better targets to hit than outhouses. So those targets are taken out instead. Several times a day. With approval authority no higher than young captains.

Anymore questions?

You know something? I wonder if the enemy is thinking this way, too. We have obviously reinforced the cordon around Fallujah town in the last days. Suppose Bush were to order a surprise offensive to take down Fallujah. It would be quite a feather in our cap, and the enemy would not expect it.

Something to think about.

Be Seeing You,

Chris
