The terrorists must be destroyed.

Unfortunately, John F. Kerry will seek to negotiate with them, like he did in 1971 with our enemies.

progressive Muslims

What's that? Why must conservatives always try to appease the gods of political correctness and multiculturalism?

Excellent article. I just read it over at NRO. One question. The author talks abotu Russia reachign out to Israel for help. I hadn't heard of this. Anyone have any info? Could it be intelligence sharing. Implications are that Iran could soon face Russia NOT too happy witht he mullahs, and not willing to aid the Iranian nuclear effort.

The EU media launched the most extreme brainwash campaign ever, portraying the terrorists as victims and Putin as murder of children.

Wait until those al-qaida backed terrorists meet the 21st century version of Ivan the Terrible.

The world changed on 9/11/2001, the world started to realize Bush and America are right on 9/1/2004. Not to downplay the Russian tragedy but appeasement is the hand maiden of evil. Hopefully lessons were learned so those children did not die for the French ideal.

Now that we have the Russian people on our side against the terrorists, we will have to modify our relationship with the Russian people or find ourselves on the opposite side of the fence again as we were(U.S.A.) with them when they were the 'Soviet Union" about Israel.

If the Israelis aren't afraid of the Russians anymore than they are of the U.S. "Manipulation Of The Super Powers by the Middle Eastern Partners" (article not written yet by anyone) It does no good for the terrorists to go after us (Russia/U.S.A.) On the other hand, if we're angry enough at both the Palestinians and the Israelis the Russians will nuke the Israelis and we can nuke Gaza. That way, the U.S. and Russia can become allies and put France in her place.

This is an unbelievable development that may leave the U.S., Britain, and Russia again as allies opposed (or obstructed) by Germany, France, and the former WW II occupied countries. Add Israel on our side and the Islamofascists on theirs. Interesting. I have no doubt who the winner of that exchange will be.

I know it's early. but are there any indications of Russia and the USA working together? There troops in Iraq would be a welcome assist, IMHO.

Good thing I'm not President of Russia (or the U.S. for that matter) if I were after what just happaned there I would apply a little reverse-terrorism. I'd anounce that the next time any Islamists took a school hostage that Mecca would be carpet bombed...with special attention paid to the Dome of the Rock.... and after that every single terrorist incident would result in another Islamic shrine/city destroyed.

Could someone give me a breakdown of the casualties?

Out of 350 dead:

How many of those were Islamic terrorists?

How many were innocents?

How many innocents did the Islamists kill?

How many of the innocents were killed by friendly fire from the Russian police?

THANKS.

Unfortunately we have been unwilling to do the hard thing to end terrorism....

They swim among us as if they owned the place

They maintain close ties to our own leaders....

Some of them enjoy protected status and their strongholds are sanctuaries off limits to our troops and bombs..

We can never defeat them until we are willing to do what ever it takes to kill them all....
and deny them sustenance, sanctuary, weapons, materials, , financing...& support of any kind..

imo

Unfortunately it probably didn't change the world. The world has a very short memory that's very good at forgetting unpleasant things. The world has already forgotten the Holocaust, is deep into the process of forgetting 9/11, and will begin forgetting Baslan in a couple of weeks. Some will remember, but in the end most will get on with their life, that's how the world works.
