It's also important to note that Rasmussen controls for partisan breakdown in his polls. He's assuming a turnout of 39% Democrat & 35% Republican, which mimics the turnout from 2000. These other polls that have shown double-digit Bush leads do not control for partisan breakdown. They're showing a about a +7% turnout advantage for the GOP which is completely unrealistic. When you suddenly oversample Republicans, of course you're going to see big movement in Bush's direction. That doesn't make it real (at least to that magnitude).
I think it's accurate. I think this thing is really tight. I think hubris, on our part, right now could be fatal. We need to play this thing like it's a tie or that we're behind.
Being part of an echo chamber is not good for you, son. Think on your own. Know were we are. I, pray for the best, prepare for the worst.
Fighting with an idiot usually isn't productive. Old COURAGE the cowardly dog isn't worth the time. Yes, he's a troll - so what? Yes, he hid all weekend while his boys john john were getting smacked. Yes, he knows that even Rasmussen has said his poll is wrong and Bush is really up 5 right now. He's here to disrupt and he gets a thrill from the attention. Ignore the pathetic trolls. Nothing is more effective than having them check their posts all day waiting for an excuse to fire off another one. Don't talk to them and they just stew in their own bile.
GALLUP RV is showing the same thing.

My 2 cents: Don't get mad @ me, get Glade.

Right now W's average approval ratings is 50.5% from last 10 polls (Dem/GOP don't count). The max W will get over his average approval rating is 0.5%.
So: If the election were held today, the approx election results would be.
W/O Nader
Bush 51.0%
Kerry 48.0%
Others 1.0%
Bush 51.0%
Kerry 47.0%
Nader 1.1%
Others 0.9%
Rasmussen is going to keep this neck and neck for the rest of the campaign, so nobody can say he was completely off. This poll is worthless.
It it to the HOMES of likely voters. Whomever answers the phone can push the button and answer any way they wish.
One thing for sure, I am starting to see a bunch of Kerry signs in my neighborhood... and no Bush signs. I have a sticker on my van and now I have to get some yard signs out, otherwise property values could decline, and we can't have that. BTW: I am 23 miles SE of Cleveland, Ohio.
What are the demographics where you live? I mean, I know you're near a fairly big city, but anything else you can mention? I ask because I'm see precious few where I am. But my area is demographically VERY conservative.
COURAGE...I think you are wrong, and besides, national poll numbers means nothing, only state numbers/Electoral College. I believe Bush has the BIG MO and no matter how hard the MSM tries, or how often Kerry says "W" for wrong, the BIG MO belongs to GWB, and victory will be ours.
Just wait until the debates; Bush will sky rocket after debate #2.
Do not forget to take your blood pressure meds. It's time to go to Freeper Island. You might want to use "Wingdings" since you are running out symbols to express your very thoughtful statements.
You sound like a DemocRAT, a personal attack, no argument.
Irony is ironic. I wouldn't be complaining about personal attacks if I were you.
I am not certain... I'd suspect a decent Union presence here and leaning more to old-school Dem, not necessarily liberal, but Union rank and file.... useful idiots most of them. We just moved here a few years ago, from Parma, which is very similar (lots of Dennis! signs). Our county (Medina) though goes R every time. A lot of our city is R, not D, just that this is the older section, and some areas look less affluent. Now, right next door behind us is brand new, so I'll have to drive on back that way and see... but from my front door, I see at least 6 KE signs, and I think the guy across the street works for the campaign as he had a boatload of signs sitting on his front porch.
Good! Ping old 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub when you use it.
It is such a critical message to all of us.
