a month has gone by and [Kerry] has yet to have a press conference to respond to the allegations by the Swiftees. To me that is the single biggest story in this election. Kerry has been flat out accused of lying, and will not defend himself . . . because he can't.
He can't show his face on Meet the Press because he knows that the first question out of Russert's mouth would be: "Senator Kerry, were you ever, EVER, in Cambodia?"

Exactly.....he sends out surrogates to call the Swiftees liars but doesn't refute their charges with any facts. It worked for Clinton but Slick wasn't trying to get elected like Kerry.
