It's not a "Justice" system; it's a hugely-flawed, multi-level "Legal" system, but it's all we've got.

He isn't going to be out of commission for very long, imo. If he is, it is by his own choice.

I think any decent person would wish an ex-president a speedy recovery from surgery. I would feel the same way towards Jimmy Carter, and I dislike him more than Clinton.
How in God's name could you dislike Carter worse than Clinton? There's no comparison on the evil meter.
To: Kackikat
He was over there as a Rhode's Scholar and was reported to the State Department for his behavior. While we can not control their prosecution of him, his status there was sort of like we would treat diplomats or representatives of other governments here. They are given special treatment.

He allowed the Shah to fall. The Shah wasn't perfect, but looking at what we got instead, can anyone doubt that pulling the supports out from under the Shah laid the seed of terrorism in it's present form.
In addition, when the Shiit's took over our embassy, his stated policy was not to leave the White House until they were freed, thus becoming another hostage, until he had to leave to campaign.
He so decimated out military, that we did not have a helicopter capable of flying in the desert during his ill planned rescue attempt.
Clinton was bad, but no comparison to the damage that Carter did and continues to do.

I predict he won't be out of commission very long...and the press will be fawning over him even more now. The Clymer's will have bedside interviews....pictures of thousands of get-well cards, flowers...and intern's..er, well-wisher's camped out near his recovery abode.
I agree. And the Democrats will lower themselves to any level to exploit his condition.
It took a moment for the lightbulb to go on, but I realized that the reason the DNC and the press reported the 90 minute conversation between Clinton and Kerry, was to attempt to garner sympathy votes for Kerry by associating him with Clinton. This is how low these people are. They will prostitute a funeral (Wellstone) or a heart condition, nothing is off limits to them.

Perhaps you'd appreciate a California earthquake thread? Young LADY! Wash your mouth out with SOAP!!!
I wish President Clinton well....the recovery isn't fun. And I PRAY that this has shown him that God has given him a second chance in life...and for him to not squander it.
To: Lijahsbubbe
I'm trying to avoid the Clinton threads as much as possible as to not look mean and cold
I wish Clinton no ill will and hope he is ok
But you can bet your bottom dollar that Clinton, Kerry and the DNC will milk this for all they can get out of it

I'm trying to avoid the Clinton threads as much as possible as to not look mean and coldI will not wish him ill either. However, I am not going to let them go unchallenged on their usual disgusting tactics.
It was no mistake that Clinton and the media and the DNC was sure to publicize the long (90 min) conversation. "Close-as-brothers-now-let's-have-some-of-the sympathy-rub-off-on-Kerry" conversation.
And it's all about money and everyone keeping theirs. (Clinton, Kerry, McAuliffe etc.)They are despicable.

Thought Billy was supposed to be some sorta jogging maniac. Installing a track at the White House and all that. Too many Big Macs and not enough miles, I reckon.

Clinton continued to decimate the military and unwisely used it. He hardly met with his cabinet advisors about serious world events and never even visited the first World Trade Center after the first bombing, or its victims. The Washington D.C. Yellow Pages don't hold a candle to the list of all the scandals the Clintons were apart of. From the Travel Office, to the FBI files, to selling intelligence to the Chinese, to rape and sexual harassment allegations, to the pathetic pardons he gave at the last minute of his presidency to trying to steal government property on the way out the door, Clinton wins hands down. Bill Clinton and his shrew of a wife were and ARE far more dangerous than that toothy peanut farmer hick, Jimmy Cartah.
In a nutshell (no pun intended), Carter is a true idealist. Bill Clinton is a mad man.

Hillary: Clinton OK After Heart Surgery
Mr. Clinton's doctors agreed that a similar situation was unlikely for Hillary Roddam Clinton, as one must have a heart to experience such a problem in the first place.

His dinner order has already been placed, even if it has to be blended so he can drink it with a straw!
