Very encouraging news. He's still not out of the woods. A close friend of the family died following such procedure. A blood clot went to his brain and caused a massive stroke.

When I went through bypass in 2000, they wouldn't discharge me until I had something to eat (five days after surgery). My wife cooked some angel hair pasta with tomato and basil (sauteed in olive oil and garlic), my favorite dish.
