Make Moore Mayor Of L.A. In March 2005
Republican Walter Moore is a 45-year-old business trial lawyer who graduated with honors from Princeton and Georgetown Law. Moore has declared war against "pay-to-play" politics, illegal aliens, waste, crime, and "welfare for the rich." Moore was the first person to file to challenge incumbent Democrat James Hahn, and has taken a leave of absence from his job without pay to campaign full-time. Find out how Moore will win with the unwitting help of Hahn's four Democratic challengers ‑‑ and why Moore's victory will be L.A.'s victory

Walter Moore needs all of our support!
AHA! Another dirty little troll. Call out the Viking ...
Never mind :)
Deport All Illegal Aliens ASAP
Moore's position on immigration is quite simple: "What part of 'illegal' don't you understand?"
By definition, illegal aliens have no more business being in our city than a burglar has being in your house. They have no right to welfare, free medical care, free education for their children, drivers' licenses, in-state tuition for college, etc., etc., etc. They do not pay taxes. This is not a complicated issue. Illegal means illegal. Period. Calling them "undocumented" is a transparent ploy to distract us from the fact that they are here illegally.
The career politicians in City Hall, however, have tied the hands of the LAPD in combating illegal immigration. Special Order 40 prevents our police from arresting people for violating our nation's immigration laws and handing them over to federal authorities. Result? Our schools are bursting with children who shouldn't be here in the first place; our Section 8 housing subsidies pay rent for people we should evict from our country; our law enforcement officers and other citizens are murdered by criminals who flee to Mexico, which refuses to extradite them; American workers have to compete with illegal aliens who can work for less because they don't bother paying income taxes; etc., etc., etc.
If you elect Moore Mayor, he will do everything he can to enforce our laws, including the immigration laws. If citizens -- not residents, but citizens -- don't like those laws, they can lobby Congress to change them. In the meantime, Moore will not sit idly by while illegal aliens crowd our schools, jails and hospitals, and drain our public coffers. This insanity has to stop. We have no duty to sit idly by while L.A. becomes a third world country. The United States Courts of Appeals have ruled that police can enforce immigration laws. With your support, Moore will compel the City Council to repeal Special Order 40 and direct the L.A.P.D. to turn over to the federal government every illegal alien they find. Moore will urge the Council instead to adopt a very simple ordinance along the following lines: "All city employees are hereby authorized and directed to cooperate fully with federal authorities in enforcing immigration laws, and all ordinances, orders and manuals to the contrary are hereby declared invalid."
The numbers are alarming. In January 2003, the Department of Homeland Security estimated that there were 2.2 million illegal aliens living in California. The Department also reported "Mexico is the largest source country for unauthorized immigration to the United States," and "[t]he estimated unauthorized resident population from Mexico increased from about 2.0 million in 1990 to 4.8 million in January 2000." They've got to go home.
How much do illegal aliens cost taxpaying citizens? According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Office, the cost of jailing criminals who happen to be illegal aliens is $150 million per year -- and that's not counting the cost of the injuries inflicted on their victims, property stolen or damaged, public defenders, prosecutors, etc. According to the L.A. County Department of Health, moreover, we spend $350 million per year providing health care services to people who have no right to be in this country. So that's $500 million per year -- not counting the cost of teachers and new schools for illegal aliens' children!
Nor is it "racist" to ask that anyone who wants to live in our country play by the rules. "Racism" means discriminating based on race. There's nothing "racist" about enforcing immigration laws: we aren't discriminating based on race. Rather, we are simply distinguishing people who obey the law from people who disobey the law. Moore opposes bigotry, and rejects any claim that enforcing immigration laws constitutes bigotry. Countries all over the world limit immigration. The U.S., like any other country, is entitled to control its borders. Moore welcomes LEGAL immigrants -- people who obey the laws and, like the rest of us, pay taxes. But Moore will do everything he can to apprehend and deport every ILLEGAL alien in the City of L.A. While our city, alone, cannot stop them from coming into the country at the border, we can certainly make our city the least attractive destination in America for law-breakers.
If foreigners don't like things in their home country, they have three choices: i) fix their own country; ii) immigrate to the U.S., legally, by the book, and pay taxes; or iii) immigrate into some other country. Staying here illegally is not an option -- at least, it shouldn't be. The United States has always welcomed legal immigration. We began as a nation of immigrants. We will always welcome people who come here legally. Indeed, one reason we are the greatest nation in the history of mankind is that the best people from all over the world want to live here. But they must obey the law, become part of the system, and pay taxes like the rest of us. With the benefits go the burdens.
Thank you for the parenthetical addition to the title - that could have scared the horses.
Yep, it's always a good idea to read the small print and in this case Moore's platform!!!

That's good enough for me!
Hahn made many enemies by referring to Los Angeles as "a Mexican city" just a few days after he was elected. I'll definitely vote for Moore, and will pass the word along.
Thanks, Moore will need all the support he can get!
He was on KABC this a.m. and he sounded great!
Ya might email his website to all your friends and relatives
Spread the word to your relatives and friends! PLEASE!
