September 6, 2004 -- SEN. Hillary Clinton might seem as liberal as can be to the Republicans who convened here, but some gay activists are disappointed in her failure to endorse same-sex marriage. "Clinton maintains that she is against same-sex marriage on 'religious, moral and traditional grounds.' She maintains that marriage is between only a man and a woman," fumes one gay rabble-rouser. "She also repeatedly says to whoever asks that she would have voted for the Defense of Marriage Act had she been in Congress back then." Now the activists are focusing on designer Marc Jacobs, who has a window in his showcase store on Bleecker Street devoted to Clinton, with proceeds from products displayed with her picture going to Friends of Clinton. "Jacobs has to get over the glamor and glitter of Sen. Clinton and face reality she is no friend to the gay community," said our source. "Jacobs' supporting her is a slap in the face to those of us fighting for marriage equality." A spokesman for Hillary said the senator "believes that people in committed relationships should have equal rights and benefits and has long supported civil unions."

From the article: "Clinton maintains that she is against same-sex marriage..."
M-cubed: "Bull $hit!...she put her finger to the wind, read the polls, and is trying to position herself where she can get the most votes!"
ah, but Her Thighness will have it both ways. Here's from the link to the rest of the article: "A spokesman for Hillary said the senator 'believes that people in committed relationships should have equal rights and benefits and has long supported civil unions.'" So which way is it, Senator?
Oh please!
What a cynical political hack she is.
We're talking about one of the most corrupt political figures in modern American history here.
I pity the fools who voted for her - really, I do.
I can't wait for 2008!
Take it and like it, girls.
Where do you think she's hiding the ice pick?
You said: She has a bit of a "Sharon Stone" look in that picture.
A very nauseating picture appeared in my mind of Hillary crossing her legs a la Sharon Stone, and now I will have to eat breakfast again. Thanks.....
...And she's a Communist, too.
See post #15. (Sorry about the breakfast!)
I hate to admit it, too. She almost looks human.
some don't preach what they practice
At least you didn't insult a conservative.
But, didn't Kerry take the same stand as Hillary? The gays are supporting him.
I think she is a member of it.
Unfortunately, this is a 'so whay' situation. If you are even considering a vote for Hillary, there is no way you would consider voting for a GOPer. Even if the queer lobby (their word, not mine) is less than in love with her, they aren't going to defect and join the GOP.
Hillary is trying to move to the center in preparation for '08.
That's why she visited the troops in Iraq
It goes against all her Marxist instincts though.
Good ole fashioned cosmetic surgery and the slight turn at the waist to minimize its look...
In four years she will be a silicone sculpture....8 yrs when it all falls apart however....
Michael Jackson will lool like Adonis compared to her heinous...
imo
...she is no friend to the gay community
I think she is a member of it.
Actually, I think she's neither. She reminds me of someone who would think of sex as a bother; participate only if it was a means to an end...remember, Chelsea was conceived after Arkansas residents claimed she was a "lesbian".
I think that was the last time she and Bill did the nasty.
So, she hasn't been officialy outed yet, and their POd?
Exactly Graybeard!!!
She and ilk must live a lie, to try and make themselves presentable. That in itself, is their fatal condemnation.
I was thinking the same thing.
SOMETIMES she cleans up well and does a good job of hiding her horns.
