Thank you to whoever first posted the link to http://www.moscowhelp.org/
Even though our government is sending two C130s with burn equipment and burn specialists to Russia, it would be great if there was OVERWHELMING U.S. support for this organization. They have made it very easy to donate through PayPal, so why not do it today.
On a side note... When I went back to the site to check and see if my donation showed up (it did within an hour), I saw this donation: 09/05/04 12:50:58 Gary Sinise $500
I wonder if that's the actor/director? I wonder if any other Hollywood names will show up?

Probably one in the same Gary, he had a website going to hep Iraqi chidren get school supplies after the war.
I saw the Gary Sinise donation too. He seems like a good guy. I know he went to Iraq. BTW, I hope some of the talk radio people on Monday (or Tuesday if they are off) will take about this site or some of the other ways there are out there to help the people in Beslan. For me, this almost seems worse than 9/11 given that they deliberately targeted children on opening school day and were raping little girls and stabbing babies and keeping children holed up in a school without food or water for 2 and 1/2 days. Just absolutely sickening what filth these Islamo-Fascists are.
Having the donations go up into the millions of $ would be a great way to stick it in the eye of the muslim terrorists.
Unfortunately the Red Cross will eat up the donations in administrative costs, while $ given to http://www.moscowhelp.org/ will all go DIRECTLY TO THE VICTIMS.
THANKS drpix!!!
I want to help with a donation. But, I want to be sure that the money gets to those who need it.
Sometimes I find I am holding my breath when reading and discussing this..It is so cruel, so depraved, so inhuman...I know evil happens elsewhere but the TV I watched as it unfolded and the pictures and stories do literally take my breath away..
God help us overcome this evil, dear Lord, I pray.Arm us with the wisdom, the knowledge, the tools, the methods to obtain victory over the terrorists and the strength and courage to use them.

The Russian Embassy has the link on their site:

This foundation was originally started to help the victims of the theatre atrocity. Read about it here: http://www.moscowhelp.org/faq.htm
And here's the link to the people behind it (mostly USA):

I have a friend from Russia who is a physician and was one is Russia. She married my friend who she met over the internet for Russian brides.(just to get out of there) She was lucky she got a good guy. This was 4 years ago. She made 40.00 a month as a physician in Russia. So any money we send is a big deal. I just hope it actually gets to the right people. I would really want my money to go directly into the hands of a family. I don't know if that is what will happen.
Sometimes you need a little faith. Everything I've read indicates this organization is on the up and up(unlike the Red Cross and United Way).
I have given... And will give more if needed...
I wouldn't give anything through the Red Cross... Not until they recognize Magen David Adom...
