THE full horror of the Russian school atrocity began to emerge yesterday as traumatised children told horrific tales of stabbed babies and brutal rapes.
It has also emerged that scores of the 323 who died - including many children - had been shot in the back.
While despairing soldiers and rescue workers moved among the growing pile of body bags, it was revealed that an 18-month-old baby had been repeatedly stabbed by a black-clad terrorist who had run out of ammunition.
Other survivors told how screaming teenage girls were dragged into rooms adjoining the gymnasium where they were being held and raped by their Chechen captors who chillingly made a video film of their appalling exploits
They said children were forced to drink their own urine and eat the petals off the flowers they had brought their teachers after nearly three days without food or water in the stifling hot gym.
Their stories came as Russian officials warned that the final death toll of the siege of Middle School No 1 at Beslan in North Ossetia - in which up to 1,200 people were held captive - was likely to be more than 400.
The official toll yesterday stood at 323 which included 156 children, 10 Russian soldiers and two emergency service workers - 35 of the hostage-takers were also killed. Last night 434 people were being treated in hospital with 247 children and 85 adults in a critical condition.
A Russian official said six seriously injured children had been taken to Moscow for treatment.
"One of them is a child, just 18 months old, with many knife wounds," he said.

I've read the Koran. Not my kind of reading, but not more blood-lusty than many of Iudean or even Christian books, especial those dating back to Medievals.
And yes, there was an, as you say, "outcry" from muslim parts of Russia blaming terrorists. Even from a Osetin neighboring republic of Ingushetia, and those two were in a real war in 1992. Believe me, I live in Russia and know what I'm saying-it's not a question of religion. It's worse-it's nationalosm in most outrageous form. Most of Chechens speak no Arabic and 've never read Koran themselves. And they drink vodka))) And use drugs like heroin which is also absolutely illegal for Muslim.
By the way, burka is never being worn by women-it's a a kind of cloack made of sheep fur, and is worn only by men-not only muslims, but Orthodox Cassacs as well. The piece of cloth muslim women wear is called paranjah or chadra (the letter is a light form of the former).
And millions of muslim died during WWII in fight for freedom against Nazis.

There's also a part in the Koran that says you get to have sex with women you obtain "by your own hand," which is usually interpreted to mean women obtained as "spoils of war" or (non-Muslim) women prostitutes. That's why it's perfectly legitimate for Muslim jihadi to rape their women (or in this case, girl) captives.
Europe tried. Once. Remeber Crusades? Constantinople (a Christian city, second Rome) was burnt. Christian kingdoms in Palestine faild. And the invasion of Islam to Europe started. We should be careful with proclamation and ideas like these, we should better infiltrate there and make them change from the inside, IMHO.

In Moscow, where 20 million people of different religions and nations live, and I'm curious enough to read all I'm curious about). I've even read Mein Kampf, so what? Yes, I've read Koran. Did you? If not, how could you judge? You know, there are mullahs in Islamic countries which tell horrifying stories to children about Christians, and those children believe, and I think that messages like yours could only strenghten them in this belief.

The entire West ( dare I say "the civilized World?" ) is locked in a fight to the death with militant Islam.
There will be no second-place winner, no "third way" solution-- it is March or Die time, folks.
It is Us versus an eighth-century "culture" of plunder & pillage, forced religious "conversions," and the mistreatment of women.
The sooner we face up to this fact realistically and quit dancing around PC talking-point nonsense about diversity and tolerance, the better off we'll all be.
We did not pick this fight- which really has roots in Jimmy Carter's appeasement in 1979 of militants- but we had damned well better see it for what it is, and be prepared to face it and finish it.
I'll put it in raw, personal terms-- I don't want Sharia law visited upon my women, and I don't want a goat-roper "culture" infesting my land.
I don't want their vile, nasty, loathsome weapons of mass destruction loosed upon my fair country, either.
They picked the fight, and now it is up to us to finish it- balls to the wall, hammer and anvil, fire and blood and iron... freedom is never, ever free, and the coin you pay it in is men's lives and tears and blood.
What we saw during Gulf War I was our military doctrine ( high tech ) versus Soviet doctrine ( throw a lot of low tech iron at the problem )-- and we all know how that turned out.
What we have just seen in the 3-Week War is Information-Tech,
( What some are calling it Hyperwarfare... )
or 21st Century warfare versus 20th Century...
What I would suggest, and call your attention to, is the fact that we, and Israel, are capable of waging 21st Century warfare, and the entire Arab world is not.
Proven fact, by recent events.
One more thing- this will be a war where we are all called to be warriors- so I suggest to you that the time has come to get hard, and stay hard... it really is the time for Fire and Blood and Iron...

Might be. Never been farther than Turkey. But total war is not Christian way, to my mind, or was dropped as such centuries ago. To my mind the better way is to guard borders and show them some real values, other than wealth and pop-culture. Euopean civilisation, a part of which America is, has something more valuable.
Neutralise the leaders, teach the rest.
