''I have five words for Americans,'' he thundered. ''This is your wake up call!'' IIRC, those who were listening LIVE said he said "I have three words for Americans..."
Can anyone link me to the audio or otherwise confirm?

Thst's the best explanation of this I've ever read or heard. Thank you for that and for your service.

"Wait until the debates. Holy Moses! President Bush will be all calm, and Kerry will come apart at the seams."I predict Kerry will try to physically intimidate President Bush with his greater height. The same mistake Algore made during that one debate when I swear candidate Bush was trying to get Al to stalk closer and act like that so Bush could deck him on live, national television.

"When I returned home to Los Angeles from Vietnam in 1971 my head was spinning as I walked through the Terminal at LAX, thinking about the culture of war that I had just left while looking around at the opulence in America. When I stepped outside onto the sidewalk a group of 'Longhairs' walked by and one of them spat on me while the others called me a 'Baby Killer'. I feel that the treatment that I received, and have lived with for the past 33 years, was due to John Kerry and his lies"Thank you for your service sir. And for your well stated case against Hanoi John. John Kerry has nobody to blame but himself. It's long past the time the chickens came home to roost.
May this be the year that our Vietnam veterans are FINALLY welcomed home.

LORD, GOD, PLEASE
Help the entire electorate see vividly and understand deeply and comprehensively . . .
that about all SKERRY
can take is
--other people's money
--fame, glory, status, ego boosts, vanity, power
--advantage of hideous lies, distortions and insane assaults of others much more deserving than he
--praise he hasn't earned
--awards he hasn't earned
--servitude he hasn't earned
--adulation he hasn't remotely earned
--an insane pass he hasn't remotely earned on all his evil doings, sayings and beliefs
--the efforts of fellow traitors to destroy the Constitution and the Republic.
Please, Lord, SEAR SUCH FACTS IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE ELECTORATE--ESPECIALLY ALL WITH A SHRED OF FAIR-MINDEDNESS LEFT.
In Jesus' Name.

Ah yes the debates....will Kerry sigh....like Gore. Honstly though, a guy who takes all sides on any issue like Kerry is sometimes hard to debate. Bush just needs to be Bush, and he'll be fine. The debates will be entertaining!

If you want passivity and wallowing in victim culture, the Dems will do. If you want to win this thing, Bush is the only guy running. Bumpity, bump! Great article as usual.

What a great article! This guy writes with the punch of Ann Coulter. I'd like to see more articles by this same writer. ALL of his articles are this funny, this brilliant, and this hard-hitting.
Ask Pokey78 to put you on the Steyn ping list.
Also, on the "search" box on the main FreeRepublic forum page, just type in "Steyn". Almost all of his past articles have "(Steyn)" or "(Mark Steyn)" in the title, you can browse through a ton of his prior works that way. They're all absolutely must reads.
