...at least 250 people were killed... 60 more bodies were pulled from the school's ruins on Saturday, 36 of them children...Officials said 27 hostage-takers were killed and three taken alive.

I hope the three live Islamic child-killers wish they had never been born before the Russians kill them and bury them with a pig!

Borders closed. Wow. Maybe we should take a closer look at that.

But the European Union said in a statement it wanted an explanation from Russia "how this tragedy could have happened."

Wow. What denial the EU is capable of.

The UK should run, not walk, from that organization.

A man carries a boy who was injured in a school seized by Chechen separatists (ISLAMIC TERRORISTS) in the town of Beslan near Chechnya.
I bet the man on the right is that boys father!

A father holds his injured son who escaped from the seized school in Beslan, North Ossetia, Russia, Friday, Sept. 3, 2004. Commandos stormed a school Friday in southern Russia where hundreds of hostages had been held for three days, sending hostage-takers and their captives fleeing in a scene of chaos amid explosions and gunfire.

A woman grieves over the body of her child killed when Russian troops stormed a school seized by gunmen in the town of Beslan, in the province of North Ossetia near Chechnya (news - web sites), September 3, 2004. Russian soldiers battled Chechen separatists on Friday to end a two-day-old school siege and more than 150 people have probably died, Interfax quoted a presidential adviser as saying. Some children are still captive, but more than 400 hostages have been freed, it said.

I'm guessing that after Putin is done our Patriot Act is going to look awfully fair and balanced.

"Anyone who will feels sympathetic toward such provocations... "

Provocations? This is MUCH more than provocation! More like savagery, Animals. Scum of the earth filled with hatred and bigotry. Did putin even mention that it was muslim mercenaries that carried out this atrocity? May they rot in Hell. It's looking more and more like WWIII every day!

I'm guessing a round hundred billion in foreign aid would allow Putin to hold a line between the Black and the Caspian Seas until, say.....February 2006, at which point, the bad guys start running into severe supply line problems.

For starters.

That works out to $12 for me and my family, and I'm willing to double it just on general principle.

Where do I send the check?

If they really wanted to know they could have sent their observers. It was chock full of people and journalists who wanted to see for themselves. Not only EU did not help, they slept and now are obstructing. EU are terrorists.

islam needs to be ideologically cleansed from the planet, either by personal renunciation or execution.

There should be no place on earth where it is allowed to exist in any form.

"...and any crackdown carries a risk of disrupting further a delicate ethnic balance."

BS, if this is what they call balance, then let's have some chaos for a while. And the EU want's an explanation! Feh, a pox on them, although I must say the "pox" is right there among them and ready to break out.

Yep! It's all Putin's fault. This is just like saying the US brought 911 on itself! We surely do live in crazy times. I'm mildly surprised that the EU called it a tragedy, they could have called it a military operation by disenfranchised street people (sarcasm!)

An important point from BBC, covered up by the US media:

"Commandos went into action after a series of explosions inside the school, at least one of which appears to have been the accidental detonation of a bomb planted by the militants."

I doubt the "accidental" part.

A charity for the victims:

http://www.moscowhelp.org

MISSION STATEMENT - BESLAN

THE FUND'S GOAL IS TO HELP THE CHILDREN AFFECTED BY THE TERRORIST ACT IN BESLAN
The complete fallout of the terror act in Beslan is not yet clear. What is clear is that this is the worst terror-related human catastrophe in the history of Russia. As of now, media reports indicate at least 150 victims who already died as a direct result of this terrorist act, and over 600 victims, mainly children, have been taken to local hospitals, a large number of them with very serious injuries.

The Foundation was originally established in 2002 to raise personal and corporate charitable donations to help families of the Nord-Ost terror victims. That project was successfully completed with all donations fully distributed.

On September 11, 2001, Russian people and the whole world stood by the people of the United States, Canada, and all other countries whose citizens became victims of that unprecedented terrorist attack.

The Beslan hostage crisis is an example of the same type of terrorism that has perpetrated the September 11 attack. In terms of the number of people involved and the worldwide attention and solidarity, the Beslan siege can in many ways be compared to the major attacks against the US and many other countries.

The Foundation is managed by a group of activists and operates in full accordance with applicable US charity laws.

All personal donations will be used solely to help the children who were injured in Beslan or whose parents died as a result of this terror act.

Late last night BBCC World said, "Some children started to escape from one area of the school,( i.e. 100 Harry Potters and Frodo) - then the Arabs started shooting." I have not heard this in the American press.

The Seattle had a picture of the scene at the Russian school on the front page and under that article is smaller print was the headline about four memebers of the US Special Forces being charged with misstreating prisoners, one of whom died during interrogation. The juxtaposition was amazing, it left me wondering what the liberal editors were thinking.

The storming of the school by Russian forces plunged the small town of Beslan into pandemonium

Huh? The bloody Islamofascist psychos plunged the small town into pandemonium not the Russian forces! And Human Rights groups criticism of Russia is nothing but a pathetic bleating of misguided fools.

It happens because the weenies and whinies in several of the EUs largest member countries are too busy placating terrorists instead of killing them.
