Kerry FReep Ideas

My wife and I were talking yesterday about Zell Miller's great speech and his line about "U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs?" inspired us.

Is Kerry coming to your community? If not, is there a Kerry campaign office near you?

Here are a couple of ideas about helping to keep Kerry's embarrassingly weak position on national security in thepublic mind.

First, get some straws (used for shooting spitballs, as you remember from when you had a substitute teacher.) Mark them "M-16D [for Democrat] -- courtesy of John Kerry." Use them to simulate firing spitballs at each other --after all, we can't fire them at a target. Taht would be profiling!

Get hold of some of those Purple Heart bandages that Morton Blackwell of the Leadership Institute was distributing at the convention. Wear a few, but use the rest differently.

Make sure someone brings one of those blow-up rubber swimming pools. You can throw some fo these "purple hearts" into the water.

If you can't get the bandaids, there are plastic hearts on the market. I know they come in purple; we had one at the Kerry FReep a few months ago (the bake sale -- and when are we going to do that again?) Get some of those and throw them into the water.

The following are instructions to make a KERRY SPITBALL DEFENSE INITIATIVE Badge (KDSI Badge) to salute the Keynote Address of Senator Zell Miller at the Republican National Convention on September 1, 2004, attacking Sen. Kerry's 20 year voting record against all major defense programs. The speech included the following:

"[Sen Kerry] is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of our U.S. Armed Forces?

U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs? "

KDSI BADGE MAKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1

Take a piece of paper the size of a name tag and type or handwrite the following:

KSDI

KERRY

SPITBALL

DEFENSE

INIATIVE

Step 2

Take a piece of colored paper approximately 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch and wad it into a ball, replicating a typical spitball. Take some Rubber Cement or other adhesive and glue the paper ball to the right side of the badge.

Step 3

Purchase a BadgeMate or other plastic container and place the KSDI card including spitball inside the plastic container.

Wear the KSDI Badge to remind all voters that if John Kerry's "no" votes had carried the day, the United States would have little more than spitballs to defend itself and all freedom loving peoples of the world.

Bring a table, chairs, portable power, and lots of waffle mix. Have a Waffle Breakfast, and sell waffles with Purple Heart Syrump (SweetHeart Syrup with Sweet covered and replaced by a PH sticker). Eat the waffles while wearing flip flops, and a hawaiian T-shirt.

Don't protest... just eat, tell jokes.

The ONLY sign should say ... "free coffee and waffles for law enforcement!"

The reason that Kerry has tanked in the polls is because of the Swiftees killer ads! You can bet the DemocRAT 'smear the Swiftees' campaign will be kicked up to a whole new level now.

Support for the Swiftees is crucial right now, so they can get these ads on the air on REGULAR TV in battleground states.
