I also wish him well.

For medical people on this thread, could you please explain why no hints of possible heart disease showed up in his physicals during his presidency?

I find it odd that suddenly, one could need quadruple bypass surgery. Wouldn't this have been coming on for some time?

Hopefully, it is something fairly routine. My mom had angioplasty & she made it OK....and she was not in as good of shape as Clinton. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Agreed.

Heart surgery is a serious thing. I wish him the best. I am no liberal; I do not wish harm or death upon those I do not like politically. I will not dehumanize Clinton in the way the left dehumanizes Bush.

He is a human being, and I will not follow the liberal path of hatred on such an issue as life and death. How easy is it to pray for those we love? Even the hypocrites do that.

I will pray today for his health and his recovery. I encourage everybody here to do the same.

It may bring out talk from the pundits about how convenient it is that Clintons will not be able to campaign for John F. Kerry in the closing 60 days (why the surgery right now?...etc), but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. It is hard to fake heart surgery.

We are classier than the left. Let us show it.

Anyone have his room number, I want to send a couple of bags of Big Macs and fries.

Yeah, I am cruel and unforgiving but so be it.

Ditto. He's the worst Pres. we've had since Carter, but ill wishes are beyond petty and small. That's the Dem's schtick.

Don't worry. In all likelihood he's going to outlive you and me both.

That's just the way it works, I've noticed.

Yeah, I agree. Can't kick someone when they're down like that. On the field of battle/politics/whatever, sure. Say what you will but the man held the highest office in the land for 8 years.

You may wish some people would go away and leave you alone and stop interfering with your life, but on this third stone from the sun, every should spend as much time soaking it in as they can get.

Except, of course, those inhuman terrorist scum.

It'll be interesting to see if he suffers the mental decline many bypass patients have reported and has been documented and investigated. Originally it was thought to be "pump head" (I think), that is, being related to being on machine but they found those on artificial support and those who were not were essentially as likely to suffer mental decline.

In some ways, my father never fully recovered from his bypass.

Thousands upon thousands of people have this done daily. I could care less, you are a sweet person. Now we have to look and him and his evil wife all week. I hate the bastard.

I also wish Clinton the best. Usually this kind of thing is genetic actually, so all those blaming Mickey D's should realize that.
