Wow. Well, maybe I'm out of touch then.You are certainly NOT out of touch with the issues. It seems from some of your posts that you have difficulty looking at these type of events from the perspective of "how would this play in Peoria (or with the young set, with the ... )" Political junkies like us often can not understand how many people just don't pay attention to all this stuff.

I live the Ohio equivalent of "Peoria," S. Dayton. I realize most people are NOT political, and many actually resent the fact that they have to actually do a little research or pay attention to the elecion. (One Dallas Cowboy BB I visit had a guy crabbing that the convention was pre-empting the Cowboys PRESEASON game. Ugh.)
But while the theme of this speech was remarkable, as a speech, it fell flat.
