Peggy Noonan had to write significant portions of this speech. Our president did a fantastic job with delivering the goods.

I listened intently, until my gorge rose.
As I originally posted, too many promises and not enough explanation of where the money is coming from.
I was very disappointed with the speech.
Since the first amendment is not totally repealed, and this is allegedly a forum for free discussion, I posted my gut reaction.

Why can't Bush ever catch a break? Before the speech the pundits were saying he needed to focus on the domestic agenda. Then when he does they complain because it sounds too much like a SOTU speech. And then you have the panel on Fox (especially Fred Barnes) complaining about the delivery of the first half of the speech. Why do people have to keep NITPICKING!

"Here two buildings fell. Here a nation rose."
Whoever wrote it, that is a line that will be part of NYC history for the next 300 years or more.

Kerry just said: "The Red Sox are now only 2 1/2 games behind the Yankees."
Really, Johnny? Look at the standings again. The Yanks won tonight and retained their 3 1/2 game lead. But what do you expect from someone who said that his favorite Red Sox player of all time was Eddie Yost. .......yep the Washington Senator Eddie Yost (who never played for the Sox).
To: EternalVigilance
Edwards said THREE TIMES that Kerry served his country and carries shrapnel in his body...A rice hull in the patootie.

Kerry is trying to be cutsie with his '5-words', '4-words', 3-words'. I like my son's '2-words' for Kerry....'Blithering Idiot'.
To: LisaFab
They're still 3 1/2 games back, not 2 1/2 as he stated... What a dolt!

Kerry just said "They can't talk about their record so all they do is attack, attack, attack"
Talk about projecting yourself onto others. He's the extreme!
