"mainly have him deliver it passionately from the heart."
Any after game analysis?
"I'm amazed that none of the talking heads have noticed the baseball mound imagery."
I didn't, and I'm sure glad someone more clever than I pointed it out.
Mort Kondrake said that he was also listening to Kerry's speech. Said it was really petty.
Good night Denny
You seem to be in the minority.
ROTFLMAO! I didn't mean YOU were Jesus, so don't get your mom's hopes up :o)
Cambell Brown didn't look too happy during her floor report, poor thing.
I thought his people had buffaloed him into giving a laundry list speech.
Indeed, Bush had to give a rationale for his reelection in domestic terms. And that had me worried.
Then Bush turned, and pivoted to the great issue of our time: not simply the War against Islamic Fascism, but something larger. Bush understands, as Kerry fails to, that this is a war for the propagation of liberty across the world. Bush's vision is that liberty, above all things, is the key to mitigating hatred, malice, and spite. Bush's understanding recalls that of Churchill, who reminded Britons during the dark days of the Summer of 1940, that mankind could advance into the "broad, sunlit uplands" of peace and prosperity, but only after the monster Hitler had been defeated.
Here's the key to why Bush will smash Kerry in November. Kerry was all about his biography. That's nice, but it isn't quite enough to give people a reason to vote for somebody or some thing. Bush is all about the future, our posterity.
Bush has set the agenda, and has framed the debate. I suspect that in choosing the battlefield, he has won the campaign.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
He may have. It is not in the script, and when I did follow along as he spoke, he followed the script exactly. But, it's no biggie to me either way. I was just trying to be helpful. You'll be able to find it on a replay.
LURCH is having a midnight party?
I wonder if cousin IT will show up. Then they can all go moonbathing while holding crystals and chanting to the moon for the space aliens to come.
I'm tellin ya. If the Pubs were half a cruel as the Dems...this thing has lot of potential. Where's John Stewart when you need him?????
In fact, he (for the first time to my knowledge) has actually said that Islamic terrorists want to destroy America and we will not let them.
Did anyone else hear the President mention the words Islamic terrorists in the same sentence?
Good night Denny.
"I got a fever...and the only prescription is MORE COWBELL!"
Oh Kent that was brilliant!! send that line to Larua Ingraham's radio show!!!
I don't know when Kerry will be on
Peach, you are so special! God Bless you Dear!
The next four years are going to be blessed!
We will have to keep our man before the Lord! And I'm so glad to do this with you all!
What a blessing!!!
You're a (Michael Scumbag Savage) Kool-Aid drinker, nothing more.
Most of them probably played *Lacrosse* or some similar hoity-toity game in school, and don't recognize a baseball mound when they see one like every real red-blooded American is able too..ha, ha...
