11:04 PM Bush says that "ordering people into battle is the hardest decison, even when the decision is right." 3000+ people are marching north on 8th Avenue, chanting "No More Bush" and are nearing the protest pen.

Kerry will lead off tonight with a speech that Mort on FNC has already labeled petty. He is going to say they questioned his patriotism and talk about Cheney's 5 deferments. I think we are headed for a Dukakis moment before the 1st of October.

I usually can't stand to listen to Bush, but the last 10 minutes of the speech was very powerful. If anybody was hoping he was going to bomb this and hand the election to Kerry, it didn't happen.
