Its the GOP audience. They are slow to respond. Medical liability seems to get them awake now.

Bush is building...medical liability reform...this is where the speech gets wings...
To: radiohead
"He has to Google his name...." just went across the marque on Fox!!!!
To: NYC Republican
"Great speech, but it sounds like the State of the Union so far..."
I thought so too. I think it is a good speech, not a great one.

To: GOP
He knows that the MSM is just waiting for a slip of the tongue. There you go. I love the man, but he isn't the best speaker. Going slowly is paying off for him. He isn't boring me, he's making his points clearly and avoiding slips of the tongue.
Speak slow all you want, George, tax reform gets my attention everytime. Talk about medical liability reform and I want to have your children.

Uh oh....John Edwards just dropped a load in his pants..............
To: comefrombehindwin
He's going to lose the tv audience if he doesn't show some fire and energy. LET'S GO!!!Goodness. I want so much for W to do excellent, and I know many here don't like to hear it, but he was FAR better in 2000. I pray this picks up. PLEASE George, Go for it.
I was concerned that his speech might be a long list with nothing new, but I thought he'd at least be as passionate as he's been on the campaign trail.
I'm not writing this to depress anyone, but this is a love thread for which differing opinions should be allowed.

The man tells the truth about lawsuits.
The Left (and the poor who are hit the worst by fewer doctors) dast not say these things.

He mentioned OBGYN'S! Perhaps he was referring to this incoming Freshman Senator????
To: MEG33
Some of this begs the question....why hasn't he done some of this already?
To: ArmyBratproud

"Medical liability reform."
John Edwards just crapped his drawers.
To: mylife
Not quite but soon.
But he just smashed John Edwards! He's trashing the ambulance chasers but good.
To: meyer
High cost of lawsuits - need medical liability reform!!! Cheers. (meyer adds that we need liability reform outside of medical as well).
hEALTH decisions made between docs and patients, not in Washington.
