Wow - just sat there doing nothing! Should have jumped up and ran out of the room yelling - except he couldn't because HE WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR! Yep, FDR sat there silent for 18 minutes after the Pearl Harbor attack unable to function. More then twice the time President Bush took to act and not quite half the time Kerry claimed (40 minutes according to his reports!) Check it out - Michelle Malkin. DKK

Uh... He knew in advance, but STILL didn't act for 18 minutes? Definitely even WORSE then! Bottom line: Bush - 7 minutes deciding what to do. Kerry - 3 years, and still hasn't decided.

One difference---Bush was NOT initially told we were ATTACKED!
NO ONE KNEW that it was an ATTACK!
For the first few minutes---until the second plane, we thought it was a horrible ACCIDENT!
