The protestors here are pretty bad. The police are doing a great job of keeping them away, but they can't be everywhere. I was attacked by a protestor at 7th ave and 38th last night.
He was pretending to be a republican and gave me literature that said " I Support Bush". It was all porn and I told him that he lied to me and why not be honest and say that he was a protestor instead of lying. He then pushed me up against a wall and started screaming and swearing at me. The cops came and took me to the Garden and then gave me an escort to my seat. The other cop took away the protestor. I will be filing out my police report today.
Other delegates have been reporting the protestors following them around and swearing at the. Mostly they run around screaming 'Yuck Bush' but the first word isn't Yuck.
After a broadway show on Sunday night the police kept the delegates in the theatre because the protestors were getting violent.
There are cops everywhere and they are doing a great job.
It was also announced today that the Anarchists will try to start WW3 tonight.

We have been informed that a disingenuous mailer has been sent to delegates at their delegate hotels. The mailer includes a letter signed from an individual by the name of Sandy Burgmeister who supposedly represents the “RNC Welcome Committee”— no such committee exists.
The letter encourages delegates to go to a spoof / disingenuous website. The pamphlet that is included with the letter states “Yes, Bush Can ‘04” and “Take the USA Patriot Pledge.”
We discourage anyone from recognizing this disingenuous organization and their disguised falsehoods. We also discourage anyone from logging on to their website and should discard the information in the packet.
