I agree with you. I can almost feel it! The key, I think, will be the emergence of a new generation of true leaders within the black community. The days of the scam artists, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, are coming to an end. It will be leaders like Michael Steele, and (please God!) J.C. Watts, that will blow the chains of political bondage open.

" a huge majority of Christians consider Mormonism a cult..in any forum."

Well, there is no place like FR to learn things. I've known, worked with and been friends with Mormons since I was 20 (long time, don't ask), and have found them loving, family devoted, gentle and kind. Can personal experience overcome misinformation?

I didn't know that. I've become a bit partial to this breed, Cavalier King Charles spaniel, as I got my first puppy during the week that the first war against Iraq was launched. The breeder named her "Lady Liberty" and I called her "Libby". Later I learned that the Reagan's also had dogs of this breed.

Do they finish the roll call tonight or tomorrow night?

Tonight! They're done...Florida moves that they make it unanimous (the votes already were--they weren't for the French candidate at the demcon).

All in favor say "AYE"

It's official!

I'm a cat person,but I just LOVE Barney

Me three! I ADORE Barney. And I hate that I'm at work and don't have cable so I could watch all this. The poodle would have me screaming tears of laughter, too. Is the music any better today?
