I keep wondering why Ronald Reagan never spent the money to fix his chin...

Never say never ;-)

He's kicking butt and taking names.

And the MSNBC talking heads seem so surprised that the GOPers are showing some spine.

It reminds me of the 2000 recount when the Dems got all in a twit when the "Bush goons" headed to Florida for the recount.

Miss Marple said that they were just upset because they'd never seen protesters with matching shoes and bag. :-) (She can tell it a lot better than I can!)

Your post was right on. Of course he is angry, as am I being a former democrat myself.

Ron Reagan is so jealous that another president's son is now president, while his peak gig until this year has been hosting the dog show. And he didn't even get the good dog show to host (the Westminster Kennel Club); no, he hosts the second-string dog show.

Wow Zell telling CNN panel that he has documentation of Kerry's votes knowing that when he spoke to PEOPLE LIKE YOU who recite the dem line, that I'd have something to back it up. Judy and even Wolf are stammering. Now Wolf tells him he seemed very angry when he spoke tonight and his appearance may backfire his cause tonight!

I've never seen such straight-talking, unvarnished truth being presented by a politician, much less a democrat. This is a history-making convention.

I think in the back of Zell's mind the whole time was the despicable way Matthews treated Michelle Malkin the other night. Spitball Matthews needs a knuckle sandwich.

He's STILL lying about the exact words that she said that night about Kerry accidently injuring himself (an accidentally self-inflicted wound).

They're tearing apart the stage at Madison Square Garden...putting in a revolving circular stage at the end of a catwalk. GW will walk out there, at some point in his shirt sleeves (they think because that's how he's most comfortable). He'll give a great speech, tell us where he wants to lead the country and rattle cages in Iran and Syria and NK. He'll be terrific because what you see with GW is what you get. No phony baloney, no cosmetic enhancements...botox and mini facelifts...so you'll think he's younger than he is. Every gray hair on his head has been honestly earned, every line on his face is there because he's been President for the past four years. Anybody who thinks it's a cushy job with butlers and maids and a big plane paid for not by the missus, but taxpayers, and where all you have to do is call up the UN or France and Germany to get things done is crazy and your name is JFKerry.

Kerry is a nutcase, neurotic. He's never accomplished anything honestly in his entire life. Don't get me started on how he stalked and harassed TerAYsa until she gave up and said she'd marry him. That was the stuff of DC gossip columns at the time, along with the interesting fact that he was facing imminent bankruptcy. He spent weeks this spring laboriously copying John F. Kennedy's signature so his would look just like it. With Kerry, as with Clinton and RATs and the MSM, it's what things 'look like' that count. Not substance, not reality. So who cares that Kerry never showed up for his day job in the senate. What he did and said thirty years ago when we were at war is irrelevant. Who cares. Let's talk about the issues, let's rearrange deck chairs.

They're crazy. Millions of soccer moms watched the news from Russia this afternoon and followed the dots down straight to their own neighborhood school. They don't want Russia's tragedy to happen here. They don't want another 9/11. They know Kerry's more 'sensitive' war on terror will get people killed, perhaps even their children. Whispers about democRATs secretly planning to vote for GW make perfect sense.

I never thought I'd say this, but like Zell Miller, I lament the loss of the democratic party to a bunch of European wannabies who think America needs to be hogtied to the UN and told what to do and when to do it. We're so much better off as a country when we have many points of view expressed with passion and sense on both sides. As it is, the behavior of democrats and the MSM is beyond belief. Without the internet and those brave Swift Boat vets, God knows where we'd be.

they need to get control of this guy now! he is pushing this too far, and to what end? we don't need this kind of stuff to elect Bush, we just don't need it. it plays well to the base here on FR of course, but we are all already on board.

Conservative political junkaholics (such as myself) don't need what Zell is saying, but there are millions of complacent Americans who need to be blasted into real-time truth and painful reality.

Zell has tried to work with these lamebrained typed for years and if you heard his speech, he complained about how they were (my words) still putting their hands over their eyes and ears post-9/11. He knows if 9/11 didn't wake them up, they really need a jolt. So he's doing what he can to kick their sorry behinds out of bed and into the GOP voting line.

Wow, good to see you...I'm reading the whole thread cuz I watched the speeches. My girls missed the speeches so we're watching the replays on C-span. Missed the best half of Zell's speech though, :(

Wished I taped them.

Two sources you can go to ... CSPAN

or

www.gopconvention.com. CSPAN, if they don't have it up already, will have the whole evening's broadcast up. Poke around the site -- you'll find it :)

Oh, those were the days! I was down in Florida....we told the MediaCrats we were "ReThuglicans". LOL! More than anything, they were bowled over with our use of humor and ridicule against Sore/Loserman. It was a hoot!

JOE SCARBOROUGH YOU STUPID MORON!!!!

Ron Silver just asked if there was an Oct. suprise out there, and Joe Trippi kinda danced around it and said it might be something that neither candidate controls. But Ron wasn't going to let him weasel out, and asks him point blank, "But is there something that they are sitting on, another DWI type story?" And before Trippi could answer that idiot Scarborough interjected some stupid lame joke and then launched into another meaningless question.
