I just had a downer thought...the moderators for the debates are all media libs. I feel like we've seen the light at the end of the tunnel but there's still a lot of mud to trudge through ahead.

Can you guys summarize the Zell versus Matthews confrontation. I missed it, and the posts are too confusing to follow for me. How come you guys are always on the right channel and I'm not? :)

Son of a gun, I was actually working on the dissertation and missed Zell's speech. Are these things repeated anywhere?

Drat and double drat! I hear on Fox that it was real fire an brimstone, so I'd rather hear it than read a transcript.

Help!

The 2004 Republican National Convention Web Site.

The link I gave you will probably have most of the videos of the individual speakers (not all of them but it looks like they have every major one except Cheney, and they're probably working on that now).

Also dig around the site ... you can find a few more in there from past nights.

Finally, I think someone mentioned it already ... check out cspan.org ... they usually have the entire evening program.

Hope this helps ...

I wish I could burn a DVD with those speeches but I'm not that technically adept.

Thank you very much. But keep the 'gentle' stuff quiet, will you? I still go to Tailhook every year, and if it gets out that I'm a 'gentle' soul, I might have to by a few extra rounds to live it down.

Every second of my service was an honor. Thank you.

"Boy, Andrea Mitchell is on some heavy meds. She seems about a second slow behind reality."

Yeah, what the hell was that about Kerry and Vietnam? Why is it that liberals won't admit Kerry is running his campaign based on his lousy four months of service?

Joe Klein and Aaron Brown talking about "the line" of civility in these campaigns.

They are ALL in shock, I tell you that.

Liberals do NOT like having the truth shoved in their faces.

Klein: The starkest difference I have ever seen. Democrats were benign and positive; we, of course, are angry.

I don't blame you, I don't like watching them either, though I did just watch Chris Matthew get his a** kicked. I couldn't resist when someone here said he was going to be on.

My father seems to feel that Matthews will lose his job in six months...his bias is just too obvious and they're losing viewers.

I think Zell is due to appear on Greta's show next. At least I'm praying he makes another appearance and puts another liberal in their place.

"What are our soldiers going to fight with, spitballs?"

Spitballs was the quote of the night. Not that the MSM will "get it".

I do not care how Matthews spins this, it is about time someone told him to shut up. I will bet you in his day, Miller was no one to ---- with.!!

***I want this speech on my desktop!!!***

Me, too. At first I thought I'd cut it down to all the quotable sound bytes. And then I realized that EVERYTHING Zell said is a quotable sound byte.
