Joe Klein and Aaron Brown talking about "the line" of civility in these campaigns.
They are ALL in shock, I tell you that.
Liberals do NOT like having the truth shoved in their faces.
Klein: The starkest difference I have ever seen. Democrats were benign and positive; we, of course, are angry.
Joe Klein: "Somebody hug me. Please."
Klein: The speeches were mean and vicious, filled with inaccuracies.
I'm watching that too. Klein talking about how civil Democrats have been. How they reached out to swing voters. CNN is a joke. Dem spin 24/7.
I predicted this last week. Liberals are SO 90s these days.
How are "they" going to explain Kerry's vote against Gulf War I, when we had both France and Germany aboard (Kerry's favorite countries), and a UN pass, which are seemingly Kerry predicates to action? Maybe the predicates are a moving target, in part fueled by partisanship. Is that possible?
"Joe Klein and Aaron Brown talking about "the line" of civility in these campaigns."
Yup, Brown's face was all red and Klein was jabbering something about how this whole thing will play (after the media spins it, of course).
Wow....Luntz's undecided group was floored and in POSITVE sense!
I now understand why John Kerry made his service the centerpiece of his convention. He is so vulnerable on national security, I mean so completely naked, that he had to risk the fallout a Viet Nam only biography might bring. I thank Zell Miller for making this crystal clear. I knew this about Kerry in the abstract but Miller's recitation of his record tonight was powerful. The only question left is will this country I agree on the threat we face today.
