There's another thread I was reading earlier that some analysts don't expect it to be a pretty picture.

Here's a secret...women really like men who take charge. They may not tell the pollster, but they'll like it.

No secret here, I agree, no girlie men for me!

McCain is a flip flopper like his friend, the junior senator from Massachussets.

How do you think this is playing to undecideds in Peoria?

They aren't watching, they ran out of the house to get a Bush yard sign and bumper sticker when Zell left the podium.

IMHO Zell was powerful and impactful, Cheney not so much, and the delegate's all too often overreactions were annoying and clumsy. Red-meaters may have loved the crowd jeers and antics ("Flip-flop, flip-flop") but it was likely a bit offputting and counterproductive in wooing swing voters("There goes those rabid politicians, acting like its all a big game").

Not a huge deal, but a bit of a missed opportunity, Tuesday was a homerun, tonight a double.

McCain's dig tonight will reach no more than 6 million.

The media will be all over him! He will do it again for all to see. That is what he does. He wants harmony and peace in the Senate.

He has not been effective and the dems use him to their advantage and always have.

Bush needs to be positive on Thursday

I'm begining to see the plan now. After a week of pushing Iraq and WOT you will see Bush be positive and focus on domestic issues since he does not have to work on the other areas since they are so well established. If that is the case I will apologize to Karl Rove for calling him a moron.
