Peter Jennings: None of the Swift Boat Critics were on John Kerry's boat with Him.

I just listened to Don and Roma on WLS-AM 890 in Chicago. This is morning talk radio that tends to be conservative. They had their regular visit from Peter Jennings this morning (who comes on a few times a month).
After a brief talk about Arnold and the convention last night, Don asked Peter Jennings why nobody in the media will even ask John Kerry a question about the Swift boat vets' accusations or his Christmas in Cambodia. Peter Jennings responded that, (perhaps not an exact quote) "none of the Swift boat critics were on the boat with John Kerry."
That's right, he's actually reading the talking points from the Kerry campaign now. I know, I know......we're not supposed to be surprised at media bias, let alone Peter Jennings; but this was beyond even what I could believe. He basically said in the interview that he's not going to ask John Kerry any questions about any of the allegations, EVER, and that the Swift boat vets are liars.
This on is just beyond the pale, even for media bias...

Jennings reminds me of an old embalmed head they defrost and put makeup on when they want some old "granpa gravitas" figure to spout DNC platitudes. No wonder he's two weeks behind the loop. He's gone from talking haircut to sanctimonious husk. Ha!! That pretty much nails it..!! LOL!!

Jennings, Brokhaw, and Dam Blather are not worth a damn as ethical or accurate journalist. They slant the news by tone, inference, and body language to suit their leftist agendas.

Um, even more strongly...
How many NYC and other anti-Iraq protesters were
at Abu Gharib?
And talk of using 9-11 deaths as a political stunt--
what about the 1000 flag-draped coffins representing
US deaths in Iraq?

Yes.
Watergate = 18 minutes of silence
'Cowardgate' = over 30 years of silence ;-)

Jennings is a Palestinian piss-boy. The guy is in dire need of a serious beating. Another one is that Mark (panty)Shields of 'Capitol Gang'.
You're only getting the DNC's talking points when these two hacks flap their moldy lips.

Don tries, but he gets flustered quickly and loses composure, like a lot of the Alpha Males of Conservative radio.
We need more Alpha Male/Female conservatives on TV and radio who can think on their feet, especially when the guests dodge questions. I often find myself aggravated at the Sean Hannitys of conservative media who get mad and shout people down. I'd kill to have more composed and quickly adapting media personalities on our side.
One example that bothered me a lot was how slowly the conservatives on TV caught on to what was an obvious "shout them down and run out the clock" strategy on how to deal with the Swift boat vets when they finally got a TV appearance or two. It seems like they were two step behind and unable to take command of the interviews.

212-456-4040 Make the call. I just called and told the guy who answered that Peter needs a new fact checker. He was on the ABC radio affiliate in Chicago and said that none of the swiftees were on Kerry's boat. In fact, Steve Garner was and actually was on it longer than anyone else. The guy told me that Peter was sitting right there and he would tell him. Come on, burn up their phone lines!

Please.. that's like saying two guys couldn't know anything about each other because they served in different tanks. These swift boats worked together.

Duong Hoang Jennings, 52, a former Viet Cong soldier, climbs off a boat on the Bay Hap River in Vietnam's southernmost province on Friday, Aug. 27, 2004. Jennings fired on U.S. Navy Swift boats during the Vietnam War roughly around the same time U.S. Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry served as a Navy Swift boat commander on the same waterways, mistakingly thinking it was an invasion led by George Bush. (AP Photos/Tran Quang Tuan)
