I was trying to find out the time that the Senator's speech will occur. I found nothing at the Legion website (www.legion.org), nor at the Kerry site, nor at CSPAN. When will the speech be given?
Anyway, here is a thread for people to post their comments.

So far the claps die out very quickly, and he has used lines celebrating other vets to get that applause.
He is talking about himself if you listen carefully. He links himself and his father to his audience. He is a fellow vet and served in combat. He knows what it means blah, blah, blah Now fishing for applause with perfunctory comments praises the troops and the American Legion. I served you didn't now coming to the surface.
Holy cats. Can you imagine getting a letter like this, and then go speak in front of the American Legion?
Kerry really is toast.
I didn't believe it really until I read this, but these guys aren't going to stop for anything, and the media, who is complicit in all of this, knows it.

Talking about he helped Vets after the Vietnam war.
Taking about the Vets returning home and how he fought hard to help them
