Wolf Blitzer, during a roundtable discussion with two other guys, brought up the "Purple heart band-aid" gimmick used by some delegates at the GOP convention to ridicule Kerry. Wolf then said, "This kind of thing could backfire if it is viewed as a slam against veterans who DID earn their Purple Hearts."
I fell out of my chair and couldn't get to my computer fast enough to post this. Incredible faux pas by Blitzer.
I love it!!! I love it!! I love it!!
What a complete hoot! Way to go Mr Lamestream news man!
Great catch!
Happy Birthday! You should have bought 42 dollars worth of Krispy Kremes.
Thanks for the ping!
This is such an excellent example of the truth emerging triumphant amidst the spin.
It shows that everybody really knows deep inside that the Swift Vets have exposed Kerry.
His "real" point was that the purple heart band aids might be seen as an insult to all purple heart recipientsa point that is completely silly.
Ping for a good laugh!
Just sent it to Rush!!
Yeah, and pigs might fly...but I doubt it.
Wolf Blitzer "admits" Kerry did NOT earn Purple Hearts PING
"This kind of thing could backfire if it is viewed as a slam against veterans who DID earn their Purple Hearts."
Kerry went around his chain of command to request (and get) a Purple Heart he didn't deserve. As if that were not bad enough, he then attempts to rewrite (in Tour of Duty) the record to make it appear that he was in charge of the patrol. Did he really believe that NO ONE would notice?
As a final insult to his "Band of Brothers" he uses the three scratches and you're out rule to get an early exit, so he can launch his political career, by painting the entire military as war criminals.
Then, just to emphasize the point he throws his medals (well not really his medals) away as a further insult to those still serving (and dying) in the rice paddies of Vietnam.
I can't imagine any veteran (especially from the Vietnam era) voting for this fraud.
God Bless President Bush and especially our brave men and women in harms way today
Sounds to me like he DID do his homework
I've heard that the Swift Vet ad is running on CNN in my area today. So some of us are actually monitoring them today. I watched for almost 40 seconds until they showed begala eating lunch. Talk about a BARF Alert!!
absolutely brilliant!!!! Love to see Fox News air it!!!!
I just watched it and didn't even hear the word "did".
Well,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
Sorry about the donuts.
I'd like to know who the jackass that thought up having to bring donuts on your birthday so I could slap him/her/it.
Give me the winning lotto numbers for the "big game" next Saturday. I can use a few million $$.

"30 days hath September...."
Well, someone once said that in politics a mistake is when someone accidentally speaks the truth. Looks like Wolf made a mistake!
