Wolf Blitzer, during a roundtable discussion with two other guys, brought up the "Purple heart band-aid" gimmick used by some delegates at the GOP convention to ridicule Kerry. Wolf then said, "This kind of thing could backfire if it is viewed as a slam against veterans who DID earn their Purple Hearts."
I fell out of my chair and couldn't get to my computer fast enough to post this. Incredible faux pas by Blitzer.
Oops. Got too excited.
Pleaase correct spelling of "Faus to Faux" if you feel like it.
Thanks!
Yep, more hard news your can trust from Wolfie...
Today is August 31. ;-)
Good catch, but you need to be chastised for watching CNN...no supper.
Kerry's first PH for the "Skimmer" incident was not earned. The commander of the skimmer where Kerry nicked himself with a grenade launcher did not recommend Kerry for the PH because there was no hostile fire during the mission. Kerry's commanding officer ashore also refused Kerry's request for a PH. These officers were surprised to later learn that Kerry had received a HP after they were transfered to other duties.
Kerry, not some spokesperson, needs to stand up on public TV and explain exactly how he got this first PH.
Stay Strong,

My sister-in-law, God bless her, tried painting some bedroom walls at her home to look like fake marble.
She mistakenly described them to me as "faux pas marble." < |:)~
Right after President Bush's speech to the vets today some female RAT was also complaining about the Purple Hearts band aids seen at the RNC convention goers. She also said that the band aids are a slam against the vets that won them. Gag! They can't take it, but have no problem with saying Pres. Bush is like Hitler.
How do you know that he said did in CAPS?
(and it is no faux pas to mispell those dang French terms).
Ha! That's pretty cute.
Gotta Love It!
ROFLMAO!
Hilarious...and VERY revealing!
I didn't interpret it that way at all... I just took at as meaning that they'll piss off those that DID earn their purple hearts, that comment being disconnected with the big-picture discussion on Skerry
Lookee here: Wolfie's freudian slip if showing......LOL

BUMP
