I don't drink coffee, this article is poorly researched.

And he's able to do this this morning because President Bush had the will, the ability and the right to combat terrorism and keep another 911 at bay.

Its noon time, Joe needs to make a Bank Deposit so he can pay some bills

En route, Joe is approached by a scumbag who a liberal felt had been sufficiently "rehabilitated" to be let out on parole from a previous armed robbery. Scumbag attempts to relieve Joe of his deposit, in an effort to "share the wealth." Joe pulls out his .45 calibre pistol, his right to carry being secured by the blood of patriots, and blows scumbag to kingdom come.

Next installment: Liberal trial lawyers v. Joe.

He fills his pot full of good clean drinking water because some liberal fought for minimum water quality standards

Wasn't Nixon responsible for the Clean Water Act?

Joe begins his work day; he has a good job with excellent pay, medicals benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some liberal union members fought and died for these working standards.

I am self-employed. Besides when has a liberal ever died for those standards?

Joe has a job because some capitalist is getting filthy rich by investing his capital in that business.
Joe has a house because some capitalist realized he could make a fortune building homes in suburbia.
Joe has food because some capitalist realized that there was money to be made in agribusiness if crop yields could be dramatically increased.

Without Capitalism, Joe would be starving, homeless and unemployed.

Then Joe remembers the polls are still open, and that he still has time to vote before they close. Joe casts his vote for Bush/Cheney, making sure that his chad is neither pregnant nor hanging. He drives home and sleeps like a baby that night.

He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs this day. Joe’s bacon is safe to eat because some liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.

I didn't know that food safety was a liberal vs. conservative thing. Conservatives are against food safety? Pffft....

Similar to what John O'Neill said about Kerry ie take a tail of truth and try and construct an entire dog, the libs are right about their contribution to many reforms that helped stabilize the US economy.

However, and this a big however, their ideas where never more than refinements made to trends initiated by doers. That is, they were never more than counter-punchers. Now that the refinements have been made, their place in history has passed.

Unfortunately for them, all that's left on their platter of ideas is socialism.

Joe gets up at 6:00am to prepare his morning coffee.

The article omits to mention part of the daily Republican routine pointed out by Michael Moore -- according to Michael, Republicans get up at 6:00 in the morning in order to determine which minority groups to screw.

I'm willing to give liberals their due when it comes to employee protection, environmental standards, safety standards, etc.

What the writer of this article doesn't understand is that today's liberals aren't after those standards. I'm sorry, but abortion on demand, gay marriage with state sponsorship on demand, and smaller, weaker military aren't on par with their previous accomplishments.

In short, today's liberals are not yesterday's liberals.

This liberal has the opportunity to whine because, while all his liberal buddies were hiding, conservatives fought to give him freedom.

Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae underwritten Mortgage

That has appreciated values of houses to obscenely false levels and encouraged people to go deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep into to debt with AMR which is going to hammer so many people this time around.

Joe gets up at 6:00am to prepare his morning government supplied coffee. He remembers the days when the store had many different brands. This one sucks. He fills his pot full of good clean drinking water from the government water tank truck out at the end of the road because some liberal fought for minimum water quality standards. He takes his daily medication, which is three pills short, with his first swallow of coffee. They were out of the ones he needed at the government run pharmacy, again. His medications are safe to take because some liberal fought to insure their safety and work as advertised.

If liberals truly got what they want.

Uh...oh, Joe hears that his employer is bogged down with liberal benefit payments/taxes and may have to shut down!

Moral of the story: anything "good" is the result of some liberal somewhere. Therefore, everything "bad" is the fault of some conservative somewhere.

It's just frightening that the kool-aid drinkers actually beleive this...
