They should also tell the world that the general public is also donating. Not just the Big Wealthy Businessmen. Private people DO have the right to speak out!

Only Democrats are saying SBVT will affect Bush negatively.
All they have is lies.

O'Neill is a Democrat. IMO, I don't think he's interested in helping Bush. His motivation is getting the truth out about Kerry.
To: texhusker22
The Swift vets seem very competent at getting their message out. (It helps that they have a simple, true message.) I doubt they need much help.

The people who are inclined to believe that the Swift Vets thing was cooked up by the Bush campaign are going to believe it whatever the Swifties say. Screw it. They should run whatever ads they're going to run and let the chips fall where they may.

Their ads shouldn't even mention that there is a president Bush. There are plenty of clips of John Kerry calling for the Swift Boat Vets to be shut down.
"Some politicians are asking for us to be silenced..." Fade to Kerry.
To: texhusker22
Why bother. The ads are getting play in all 50 states allready.

This is a war between the decorated vets and John Kerry.
They don't care about Bush. This isn't about politics.
They're on a mission. Let them complete it.

The Swift Boat Vets are quite capable of taking care of themselves. Don't know why their success should bother you. Why don't you contact the DNC and your local newspaper and tell them we need to know the real Kerry???

I have seen O'Neill, in several interviews, answer that question. He emphatically states, "Even if the President would personally call me and ask me to stop, we will not."
And .. if you saw the statement Laura Bush made, you get a clearer picture of what the President REALLY thinks. They ask Laura if she thought the Swifties ads were unfair?, "NO, NOT REALLY". That's tells me .. President Bush does not think the ads are unfair. After all the President has been bombarded for 3 years with the most horrible of ads [and the President is not out there whining]. And .. that too is what Laura Bush remarked to the media - "the President has been bombarded with hateful ads too".

The ads already stress what he did after Vietnam. The press and the RATs have tried to bend it into what he did while in country because they think it's a sexier story and because they know it will be less damaging to Kerry than exposing his treasonous activities post-Vietnam. LET THE SWIFTIES TALK!!

The President denied any relationship. That has to be enough for America. There was a time when if the President said it, IT WAS TRUE. We must return to that standard. Let the media and the democraps just GET OVER IT.
Besides, Kerry said, "Bring it on." It is now being brought "on".

I always thought, hoped, prayed, there would be "blowback" against Clinton when he ran for re-election, and I was Disapointed.
And the Dems will also be disapointed.... Truth has legs!

I think "W" answered the question of how he felt about the Swifties pretty well. He suggested that all the 527's stop their negative lambasting. Nothing more needs to be said unless kerry wants to also call a stop to all this mudslinging. But kerry has absolutly no power over what MoveOn and the other socialist/commie groups want to air.
I say let them practice the art of their 1st amendment rights, just don't whine when we start tossing the mud back at them.
