Potential for blowback on President Bush

Does anyone know how to contact the swiftboat vets. I had an idea which may be crazy, but to avoid potential blowback to the president, why dont they run an ad that states "that although President Bush and John Mcain want us to stop, we believe America needs to know the real John Kerry."

They should also tell the world that the general public is also donating. Not just the Big Wealthy Businessmen. Private people DO have the right to speak out!

Only Democrats are saying SBVT will affect Bush negatively.
All they have is lies.

O'Neill is a Democrat. IMO, I don't think he's interested in helping Bush. His motivation is getting the truth out about Kerry.

The Swift vets seem very competent at getting their message out. (It helps that they have a simple, true message.) I doubt they need much help.

Troll or not, I am sick and tired of hearing the media toot the horn that the Swift Boat Vets are being funded by the Wealthy Businessmen.
I guess the media doesn't want the general public to know that the Swift Boat Vets have a HUGE FOLLOWING!

The people who are inclined to believe that the Swift Vets thing was cooked up by the Bush campaign are going to believe it whatever the Swifties say. Screw it. They should run whatever ads they're going to run and let the chips fall where they may.

I've been thinking the same thing. Hopefully they will post an ad saying there is no connection.

but if their goal is to bring kerry down and make sure he loses, they wouldnt want to risk hurting Bush

Their ads shouldn't even mention that there is a president Bush. There are plenty of clips of John Kerry calling for the Swift Boat Vets to be shut down.
"Some politicians are asking for us to be silenced..." Fade to Kerry.
To: texhusker22
Why bother. The ads are getting play in all 50 states allready.

As an organization, they don't care about Bush.
Many of them are Dems.
They want Kerry to resign from the race.
If he does, they don't take a position on who they
want to replace him, or to be president.
Failing a resignation, they want him to lose.
Any they don't care if Nader wins.

I did see the sign up date but I didn't get the impression this was a troll effort. Or were you looking for an opportunity to post your fish picture?

but wouldnt the media have a hard time saying it was all from the Bush campaign if they had an ad saying differently. I mean they would try to spin it, but it would be hard to do
