I see that Alexander isn't so cocky-forgive the tactless play on his sexual preference-about Kerry mopping up the floor with President Bush come November.
Could he be having buyer's remorse, perhaps?

Got my book from B & N Online, no
problems, 5-day shipping. But then
B & N announced later that they're
sold out, everywhere, & awaiting
a new shipment.

Actually, WABC didn't dump Paul. He abruptly decided to quit. I happened to be visiting Steve Malzberg at the studio the night he quit. Incidentally, John and Paul are two of the laziest talkers. Their show isn't live as John pre records the show in the early afternoon and leaves the studio about 9 PM before the roll the tape on his show at ten. That's cause he doesn't take calls, otherwise the audience would hand his head for all the pinko guests he keeps putting on.

"I spent more time on John Kerry's boat than any other crewmember.
John Kerry hasn't been honest - he has been deceitful.
John Kerry claims that he spent Christmas, in 1968, in Cambodia.
And that is catagorically a lie. Not in December. Not in January.
We were never in Cambodia on a secret mission. Ever."
Ramsey Clark to Join Panel for Saddams Defense

Vietnam phony vet Al Hubbard

- Al Hubbard, proven fraud who never set foot in Viet Nam.
The only Vietnamese he ever met was
when he was collaborating with the North Vietnamese in Paris
on the American Communist Party's nickel.
John Kerry's explanation:
"He (Hubbard) simply exaggarated his particular position.
But nobody knew it at the time. And those things happen."

we were held captive longer

Too many re runs.......too my pre recorded interviews.......too too boring......too many uninteresting topics.
Seems he's researching a book at the expense of the listening audience.
How long till they move Malzberg up and go back to Art Bell.

Agreed......Kudlow is great guy.
I actually came within a few feet of him one time and he is beyond charismatic. He got out of his convertible, slung his jacket over his shoulder and my elderly heart went pitter patter for an hour!!! LOL

I agree. I sometimes enjoy Batchelor if he's interviewing an interesting author. Being an ever diligent student of WWII, for example, I enjoyed John's interview this past summer with the guy who wrote "OSS: Operatives, Spies, and Saboteurs." It was neat, I thought, to hear some of the stories told first-hand by old agents of the OSS.
But I don't understand his interviewing guests like Katrina vanden Heuval of "The Nation." Supposedly, she and John are neighbors -- so? Who cares what "The Nation" thinks?
I never minded Paul Alexander so much when he was on the show; he was always subordinate to John anyway. But I felt extremely annoyed when I later heard Paul interviewed on Monica Crowley's show about the book he had just published on Kerry. Monica can sometimes be a great bulldog, and she persisted with some tough questions about Kerry. Paul evaded all of them, ending with something like, "Monica, it's not a book about Kerry; it's a book about his campaign." Another phony, I thought.
