A few weeks back Rush said the MSM had held a meeting where they'd laid out the plans for managing the news for the summer, through the fall, to Nov. Which stories would lead the nightly news, which to emphasize, etc.. I'll bet the Swift Boat Vets weren't even on their radar. Just goes to show that you can't keep the good guys down.

Hahaha! The press got played! The democrat shills and lackies would loved to have swept the SwiftVets under the rug so that nobody heard their message, but because the 527 phenomena has come to bite them in the butt, they know they had the funds to run their ads.
So the same media figured they actually had to do just the opposite of ignor it. They had to cover it and try to trump its message with their own. They thought they could overshadow the truth with their tripe and propaganda.

Well, their trump cards were not aces and they only raised the stakes. The Swift Vets got more attention than they ever could if the ads were their only tool. Kerry cannot be saved by trumpeting shills.
