George P. Bush Visits Milwaukee to Participate in Announcement

Milwaukee, WI - Today, Bush-Cheney '04 announced its Wisconsin Viva Bush leadership team.  The committee includes Hispanics from throughout Wisconsin who will be spending significant time this fall spreading the message that President Bush is the better choice for the Hispanic community.  George P. Bush, nephew of President Bush, joined Wisconsin Viva Bush state chair Camille Solberg and Bush-Cheney '04 supporters at a press conference at the Milwaukee Enterprise Center South to show their support for President Bush.

"President Bush's commitment to the Hispanic community is clear," said Solberg.  "He is delivering less taxes, more efficient government, better schools, a pro-family and pro-business agenda, a strong military, and a secure homeland."

George P. Bush talked about the importance of the Hispanic vote to the election.

"We're organizing events across the United States to get Hispanic Americans on board the Bush-Cheney campaign," said Bush.  "We're getting people signed up to vote, encouraging them to talk to neighbors and friends, and on November 2nd we're going to make sure people get to the polls - because every vote is crucial.

"That's especially true in a state like Wisconsin," he added.  "The President lost this state by just two-tenths of a percentage point in 2000. We don't want to let that happen again. We're redoubling our efforts to reach out to people across Wisconsin to make sure they cast a ballot for George W. Bush."

Maria Monreal-Cameron, a leader in the Hispanic business community, said she supports President Bush because of the way his policies have helped Hispanic businesses.

"There are nearly 2 million Latino small business owners in the United States," said Monreal-Cameron.  "President Bush's small business agenda creates an environment in which owners can create new jobs, support their workers, and improve our economy.  Small businesses have created 2/3 of the net new jobs in our economy.  By cutting their taxes, President Bush is promoting economic recovery."

"As more and more Hispanics look at President Bush's record, they are finding that their priorities match up best with those of President Bush," added Solberg.

LOL - Maybe he should invite Kerry to "Lambert Field" for one of those debates Kerry thinks he wants...Might as well win the first by default and then trounce him honestly later...
