The Fresno/Central Valley Chapter cordially invites one and all to our third annual Fresno Tailgate and Rally on Friday and Saturday, September 10th and 11th, 2004.
Our rally will begin at 5:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm Friday night, at the corner of Blackstone and Shaw in Fresno. Afterwards, the group will retire for dinner, refreshments and fine company at a nearby restaurant.
Our tailgate pot-luck picnic will be at Woodward Park on Saturday, September 11th. We've reserved the "Gazebo" area for the full day. We'll probably start arriving about 2:00 pm and will dine and party till dark.
The entrance to Woodward Park is on Audubon Drive, just off Freeway 41 on the northern edge of Fresno. The Gazebo area is near the center of the park (see park map). Bring your flags, banners, signs, family and children. Prepare to support your country and enjoy the company of your good FReeper friends!

The charge is $3 bucks? I thought it was a dollar! Where have I been?
I responded to the thread in the beginning, and I am just soooo sure I sent you freepmail! YOU know how YOU are about not answering freepmail! (hee hee)
I am bringing those honey, don't worry! Any other drink requests?
It will be great to meet you!
Where does that guy live? What a beautiful yard that is!!! I am jealous as heck. Right now my new yard is a bunch of dirt covered in acorns!
So Adam, what do you do in your spare time? You made me exhausted just reading this!
And it is only the very best in California!
OOOH, I have so much fun posting to myself!
Sorry with promises like that I just can't bring my self to forgive...
:>)
That is the road to Fido's house...back in 1916.
A couple of weeks ago Fido was supervizing a crew putting new rain gutters on the cabin.
And two years ago or so I took him to the beach. He dug such a deep hole I could hardly get him out after it collapzed on him!
This I gotta see.
Yes, I am that. :-)
Dr. Zoo expressed a desire to bring some of his sculptures and have a MiniArt display at the picnic. Do you think you can bring it to a vote?
I could, but I won't. As head of the FResno Central Valley Chapter, I will make an executive decision to request, no...require, that Dr. Zoo provide us with a MiniArt distplay at our picnic.....and I won't take no for an answer. :-)
The guttersnipe would make an appearance...
Grate! Up close and personal with the guttersnipe. I have long admired the guttersnipe. I am sooooo looking forward to it.
BTW, it was discussed at dinner this evening, if Dr. Zoo requires over-night accommodations, Saundra Duffy says he should contact her. :-)
BTW, I don't have your e-mail address, could you freepmail it to me so that I can include you in the Chapter mailings that I send out? I don't send things out often, but when something special is planned I like to be able to reach everyone.
I am sooo sorry. I was feeling well at all. Still not, actually. I don't remember hearing about a chapter meeting for tonight. I'll freepmail my e-mail address, okay?
Well, thank you :o)
Oh, I'm sorry. You get to feeling better real soon.
I don't remember hearing about a chapter meeting for tonight. I'll freepmail my e-mail address, okay?
After you wrote and asked about a Chapter meeting we decided to have one after the rally last night, but since I didn't have your address I couldn't include you in the e-mail that I sent out about it. I should have freepmailed you. Anyway, I will add your address to the Chapter list and you will recieve word of any future Chapter doin's. :-)
Take it easy and get well.
Thank you. I will do my best!
BTW, did you know that John Kerry was in Vietnam??? Yeah, I heard him say on TV last night! I learn something new everyday :o)
