Novak on Kerry’s first Purple Heart
CNN's Crossfire
| 8/26/04
| Bob Novak

Watching Crossfire on CNN.
Novak implied that one of the two men on the boat with Kerry during his first Purple Heart will come forward to contradict Kerrys story.
He wouldnt tell Carville the name of the person, but said it would come out soon.
Should be fun.

When Novak mentioned that did the vein in carvelle's head start pulsating?
If so that is usually a good sign that another democrat is about to be caught in a lie...
If he got the weasel look the carvelle was in on the lie. :)

I don't know that anyone has seen an implosion like this, or that we ever will again. It is almost becoming overwhelming.

I would love to see a hugh million conservative march and demonstrate on the Washington Mall for Conservative values. But of course, that would make us extremists and ... gasp... fascists.
That's a vey series undertaking...let me know if you get it started...

Kerry is on the run. He can't say anything now because he doesn't know what else the Swiftboat vets have.
Kerry has opened up a Pandora's box for himself.
He's told so many lies and he knows it.

I don't know what else you could get from these two. I believe they have both said they could not confirm that there was any enemy fire that night. I also think Hurly has admitted that sKerry's injury was possibly self inflicted.

If Novak says it was one of the two men on the boat with Kerry and its alread established that Zaldonis and Runyon were on the boat with Kerry that must mean it is one of these two wouldn't it. Which means somebody is "flipping" on Kerry. Hmmmm. That will leave a mark. Put some ice on it John boy. This may be getting better and better.

Think it will reach the high water mark and the DNC will meet in special session (like they did in summer 1972 to nominate willy-nilly Sarge Shriver for VP) that is to say, before it's too late and ask Kerry to leave the ticket, elevate Edwards and pick Hitlery as it's running mate? Wouldn't THAT be something???

We need to get the Swifties to mention that in an ad.
The media is ignoring the diary entry.

You've got to hand it to the libs - they have a long tmie horizon. If Kerry can't help them achieve any of their objectives in the short-term, it is important to 'clear the decks' (pun intended) to set the stage for Hillary, et al in 2008.
It's sort of like breaking up with someone - it typically drags on until a break point is finally reached where there's no turning back. However, once the break is made, people tend to start focusing on the future.

If they smell blood they'll sink him so fast it'll make your head spin.
Not so much because they want ratings (which yes they do btw), but more importantly... so they can have Hillary come in to save the day
To: jackbill
Now, who are you going to believe?
An Admiral or a known liar?
Tough question!
