Watching Crossfire on CNN.
Novak implied that one of the two men on the boat with Kerry during his first Purple Heart will come forward to contradict Kerrys story.
He wouldnt tell Carville the name of the person, but said it would come out soon.
Should be fun.
I bet it was Valerie Plame.
Let me find it....be right back.
He invented Swift Boats, you know.
To paraphrase, "It depends on the meaning of 'Wound'" and "the meaning of 'Enemy Fire'".
In Kerry's mind, any Sailor firing a weapon was "Enemy Fire". Any contusion was a wound. Rich kid, remember. He doesn't fall down!
What is "MSM"?
Admiral Schachte claims that he was also on the skimmer (Boston Whaler). Kerry and the other two say that he wasn't.
It's irrelevant. Kerry has already admitted in his diary, seven days later, that they hadn't yet been under fire.
He wouldnt tell Carville the name of the person, but said it would come out soon.
Sure hope this guy doesn't become a victim of some random street crime.

hmmmmmmmm
I wonder WHO?
You have the right answer. Gardner was not on the Boston Whaler that night. Schachte was the OIC. Kerry was on training mission. The two enlisted guys on the boat (Zaldonis and Runyon) that night don't remember that Schachte was on there. But logic would dictate, you don't put a new officer on a training mission without an experienced officer being present. Schacte's call sign was Batman. Kerry's was Robin. POW!!!
.
considering Kerry's action after Vietnam maybe he considered the other swift votes firing to be "enemy fire". It all depends on who you see as the enemy I guess.
kerry should go ask dukackis if he can borrow his tank helmet so the circle's complete.
Doogle
WHo is this mysterious person on the boat with Kerry? It's none other then... then... My god!! It's George Bush!!!!

Oh I agree.
Maybe I am stating the obvious, but it seems they are reluctantly behind him. Prior to Iowa, they sort of laughed him off and did not take him seriously. I think they were hoping for Dean, he certainly seemed to have the momentum. Then they got the horse's ass with the horse face and they supported him just to help get Bush out. However, they now see how weak he is. You are right, they will blame him not the agenda because they want to continue pushing this socialist agenda.
Why? I have no idea. But let me tell you, I am getting sick of the baby boomer, blame America first crowd.
I had a weird thought this morning that if Bush does win, that they are going to start undermining him form day one and I wouldn't be suprised to hear calls for impeachment, etc...
One of the issues is that Republicans, and Conservatives in particular, seem reluctant to stand up and be counted. That is not meant to be a slight, just that you don't see us demonstrating like the left does. I would love to see a hugh million conservative march and demonstrate on the Washington Mall for Conservative values. But of course, that would make us extremists and ... gasp... fascists.
Now Kerry CAN start to toss his medals away, and IT WILL MEAN SOMETHING.
I can guess Carville's reaction:
