They're appointed.

That's what this election is really about. Judicial control.

Who is going to appoint at least three Supreme Court Judges and therefore change the composition of the court and the laws of this land for generations to come.

That's why the dems are fighting so hard for this election and a candidate they dislike.

It's all about power.

if they want to treat it like removing a mole or fat, wouldnt it be considered "cosmetic" and as such shouldnt insurance companies and government stop paying for "cosmetic" surgery?

isnt the end goal to stop killing babies? if we have the prodedure labeled cosmetic and girls had to shell out the money from pocket, i am convinced the numbers of murdered babies would be drastically reduded.

a law that prohibits the performance of a particular abortion procedure must include an exception to preserve a woman's life and health

I challenge this judge to come up with one situation, one, in which performing a partial birth abortion would be necessary to preserve a woman's life/health.

That's what this election is really about. Judicial control.

This may sound awful, but we need to get pictures of late term aborted babies out there. It'll show why a Bush election is so important.
Democrats support the death of these little things. Kerry judges would not do anything to stop the killing of the innocent.

In a highly anticipated ruling, a federal judge found the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act (search) unconstitutional Thursday because it does not include a health exception.

Oh yeah, that's in the Constitution, for sure. Did Casey spend his youth smoking dope or is he just brain damaged from birth?

This judge MUST be working for the GOP.

This plays so much into the hands of the Right-To-Life and other Party activists. I'm really surprised that they didn't shelve this until after the election.

we need to get pictures of late term aborted babies out there.

That would be illegal, unlike porn. Just ask those same judges.

Remember when Drudge had a TV show on FOX News (well before we had FOX here), and he was fired for showing the picture of the baby who was having surgery grabbing the doctor's hand.

IIRC, Drudge was warned by the network not to show it, did it anyway and was fired.

I just went to Foxnews website - there's a banner there. So it's unconstitutional to ban killing partially born babies. Must be a different Constitution than the one I have a copy of.

I have the same one you have and I can find no enumerated power in there for the federal government to be involved in murder. Please reference it for me.

(And don't even go there, I oppose abortion on demand.)

The House, Senate, and the President banned this procedure. Those people represent us, the American people.

Unelected judges are over ruling the choice of the American people. THAT'S unconstitutional. Unelected judges cannot have the final say. They're out voted 3 to 1.
This is what has to be changed somehow. The courts uphold the laws. They don't make them.
