It looks like he and Ramsey Clark are starting a new band of brothers. I wonder who else will join.

This, after the commission investigating Abu Graib said that a Rumsfeld resignation would be a "boon to America's enemies". Exactly. I was going to look it up after noticing many a freeper apparently unaware of the commission's findings.
Oh, and did you catch that Kerry not only called for Rumsfeld to step down. He called for the formation of a commission! Presumably one that will find the administration culpable after all unlike the *commission* that just rendered a report.
LOL

>>Rumsfeld was helping the EMS with evacuees at the Pentagon, and Kerry was sitting on his hands for 40 minutes, unable to think.
Thank you! Every time I hear his name I think of Rumsfeld hauling the wounded out of the Pentagon---not a young man, and entitled by age, rank and sheer merit to take cover.
Whereas John Kerry sat frozen for the better part of the hour, then evacuated. Delicacy forbids I speculate where.

I agree, this Rumsfeld thing is weak. I personally don't want an admitted war criminal as President, I'm funny that way.

If Fox news is smart they will play Kerry saying this right next to the committe which stated empathically that Rumsfield resigning would be a disaster and give our enemies a win.

He's trying to shore up his base.
Must be slipping badly in their internal polling.

If President Bush invites Max Cleland inside for lunch, he will need a half dozen or so Secret Service guys to lift that 400 LB Polyp up the front stairs

They never ever shut up because they love to repeat thier talking points. I think a lot of Americans are getting sick and tired of their aggressive drum beat.

Let's see.
Here's a guy who personally admitted committing atrocities much worse than placing panties over naked prisoners' heads asking for a 3rd party to resign.
Instead of running for President, he should have been arrested and tried in a military court.
If Kerry wins the election, I have lost all hope for a bright future for the United States of America.

They'll keep coming up with commissions until they are satisfied with the report.

I think they should send the Secret Service to meet him at the airport and whisk him in through the back entrance. Wine and dine him, give him a tour of the ranch, and send him back to Waco in Marine One, making him feel important. No photo op.
Even better if W sends a stern message to Kerry via Cleveland. Such as "By executive order I can override the need for a 180."

Good point LS.
He's getting hit on the economic side by Bush ads on Taxes.
He's getting hit on the national security side by the Swifties.
They have him spinning right now trying to guess where the next punch is coming from.

The purpose of the Abu Graib leaks yesterday has been found."Leaks"???
The commission issued a report and spoke about it in front of microphones. That's not a "leak", it's a "press conference".
One in which the head stated flatly that Rumsfeld leaving would be a "boon to our *enemies*".
I guess Kerry wants to give our enemies a boost (again).
